looks impressive from outside and reception. Rooms very basic, some rooms without windows. Need to use the door card to use the lift but won't allow you to go to other floors, except your room, ground floor, and basement (for breakfast). Staff very unhelpful and miserable, cant even be bothered to greet you, except for catering staff. Food ok, plenty of fruit and hot food. Be careful, as they tell you that you have used items that you haven't. Clean except bathroom floor. We have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam, many have less stars but much nicer, with nicer staff. Will never stay again

Hotel facilities good. Restaurant staff/chef excellent. Reception staff miserable. One of our group accused of stealing a towel. We were accused of using water from the mini bar. Both accusations are UNTRUE. Hopefully INTREPID will stop using this Hotel. This was a sad part of our holiday which was otherwise superb.

This hotel is in a really great location. Many of the interesting sights are within walking distance provided you are willing to face the traffic. The staff are lovely and the front desk is really happy to help with any inquiries. If like me you have mobility issues this might not be the hotel for you as the steps to the entrance are steep and hard to negotiate with a suitcase. The rooms are small but well appointed. Cleanliness particularly of the bathroom was fair. The bed was comfortable however with a night club right across the street it was difficult to sleep due noise. There is also a school and the beautiful singing by the children in the morning was a pleasant surprise. Buffet breakfast is included and although there is a variety of dishes offered, there is very little choice for vegetarians. There was also very little service offered. The restaurant is in the basement and is very small so when the hotel is fully booked you might have to stand and wait quite some time before a table is vacant.
