The room provided by this hotel was so bad. The toilet in the room was connected to the room, so I couldn't use the toilet in the middle of the night, otherwise the loud pumping sound would disturb my sleep. In addition, the room I booked had 4A paper on the wall. The room felt uncomfortable at first glance. It looked like a temporary pavilion (a storage space next to the stairs). It felt very bad. . A very classy establishment that whispers stories of times long ago.
Beautifully and tastefully decorated.
Not a laminated surface in sight.
Bed was extremely comfortable and room was big. We could do cartwheels.
No fancy mod cons - but none needed.
Everything required a short walk away.
Beautiful.
I’m already excited about staying here again.

From the moment I entered the reception, I felt welcomed. Staff accommodated my request for accessible room and offered to store my luggage. The room was clean and comfortable with lovely touches such as beautiful cups for tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent and check in and out very easy. Definitely recommend!

We spent 4 nights here over New Year
We had a great stay in a very large well appointed king room
Included breakfast was great
Staff were amazing with special mention to Holly who was knowledgeable and friendly

The staff at Macquarie are amazing. Bed and room were great. The hotel is close to Salamanca Markets. Stay included a great continental breakfast.
