The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart

I stayed here for three days and felt that I didn’t have enough. I found it the most comfortable place to stay among all the hotels in Tasmania. It is indeed the capital of Tasmania. First of all, the location is excellent. You can see the port from the room. Turn right after exiting the lobby. Behind the hotel is the Salamanca Saturday Market, but they start closing their stalls at 3 p.m. Please take advantage of the time and take a look. Everything inside is more expensive than outside, especially the food. The breakfast at the hotel is top-notch. I have never had such a rich and delicious breakfast anywhere: free cherries, free smoked salmon, free artichokes in oil, a variety of fresh vegetable salads, adzuki beans, and accompaniments. There are two kinds of eggplants, and in the next few days there will be strawberries, wild mushrooms fried in butter, ice sparkling water, fresh fruit milkshakes, healthy and fresh. Of course, you can also order a variety of coffee and an omelette (there is a menu). What is dramatic is that almost all rooms in the hotel cannot open windows, which is very disadvantageous for people like me who absolutely need fresh air. Later, with the intention of giving it a try, I asked the hotel to provide a room with windows. The hotel actually agreed and moved me directly to the hotel's rooftop balcony. . . You don’t have to do it yourself. The hotel staff will help you move your luggage to the new room, but you have to pay the difference of 50 Australian dollars (worth it). You can see the history of the hotel. The roof was built in 1920. I lived on the roof! It feels very warm. After comparing, I realized that their service is really good. Oh, by the way, the airport bus comes and gets off at the second stop, and it's only a few minutes' walk away.

The check-in service during Christmas was attentive. The hotel building has a historical introduction. The restaurant is delicious but a bit expensive. Mineral water can be added to the room. A card was given for Christmas. Small details added to the good impression.

The location is very good. It is only a 2-minute walk from Skybus Station ②, and it is very close to the pier and the market. The service is very good and understands the needs of customers. Accessories are favorite brands, too. The room I stayed in is on the 4th floor, which is an ancient building. Visually, the 5th-7th floors are covered. Waking up in the old house, the hotel's breakfast is rich and delicious in Peppina's restaurant.

My family and I stayed at the Tasman Hotel for one night and we were very pleased with the entire experience. First of all, the service at the hotel is excellent. The staff member Cindy was friendly and helpful, they warmly welcomed us on arrival and helped us with the check-in process. They were very attentive to our needs and provided an excellent valet parking service. The hotel rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and we woke up feeling relaxed. The room is fully equipped with a large screen TV with chromecast, high tech room. We were very impressed with the breakfast buffet. The food was very fresh and varied, probably the freshest buffet spread I have ever had. Whether it's fruit, yogurt, bread, pastries or hot food, there's plenty to choose from. We tried some local specialties and they all tasted great. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is located in the city center, 5 mins walking distance to salamanca market, and has great food and shopping nearby. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Tasman Hotel. The service, rooms and breakfast were all excellent. We highly recommend this hotel.

It is basically at the level of Marriott's domestic JW. The hardware and services are all 5-star standards. The Peppina restaurant is also of a very high standard. The gym is not big but it is sufficient. The location is really good, the city of Hobart is covered by walking, and the Saturday market is just outside the door, but the parking is a little expensive at 45 dollars a night.
