Woke up to the morning sunrise in my room . Time for Breakfast and hot tea. Met Executive Chef Chowang at Hotel D polo, who wanted to know what our Dinner plans were. We 6 friends from Mumbai were keen for Himachali cuisine and Chef smiled and agreed . He introduced us to the famous Himachal traditional Dham. Basically Dham is served on special occasions like marriage functions. Dham is rice based meal served with traditional Madra - a yogurt based chickpea curry. Thukpa - famous soup, then Chefs recommended lauki Momos - which was super with the spicy chutney. Paneer and cheese patty was too good. Then for main course we had khatta meat, Also chana madra. Kangra Rajma with lots of ghee was absolutely dekh and finally finished the meal with meetha chawal.

It was really nice stay at D polo amazing hospitality food is also very delicious club class rooms are very specious neat and clean with amazing view special thanks to mr karan in sales department and chef chowang They both are very humble kind and helpful Chef chowang made very delicious food thanks sir for taking care of all my baby meals.I am very greatful to all the staff members for quick service and thanks to karan also in the restaurant he also helped me a lot . I will definitely come again 😀 Loki momos must try at restaurant u l not get these tasty momos in whole dharamshala chef recommendation👍 Only one suggestion I would like to share plz try to arrange baby cot also

We visited Dharmashala with family in March. Initially I was skeptical about the location and the Dpolo resort. But the moment we reached at the hotel, it was a beautiful experience. The staff and the hotel ambience is the best part of it. Starting from checkin, then food and also their travel desk provides top quality service. Bhupen ji at travel desk did an awsome job in arranging the airport pick up and ensuring all our local sight seeing is done with utmost care. Sunil ji at front desk was very friendly. The food at this place is the icing on the cake. The restaurant ***ager (Sajan ji) was always ready to ***age our request as we had a lot of food restrictions. The view from rooms are beautiful whether you take mountain view or river view. Placed in a nice location close to airport and other places. I would recommend this place for any family or business trip.

We had massage therapy services done at this Spa and I would say this was our best experience ever when we have been traveling for quite number of years and have used the spa services every where but service at this spa was different level of experience the Therapist names Rupa & Rosy were so brilliant I would recommend all to use their services their prices are reasonable too.

Am amazing hotel to stay in Dharamshala. The rooms are good with view of mountains on one side and river on other.. its around 3 km from the main market. The USP of the hotel is its the rooftop terrace with breathtaking and spectacular views. The food is also really good and the service is prompt and efficient. There is enough for kids to be engaged with carom, chess, ice hockey and ***y more activities.

Nice place to stay with beautiful views and location . Rooms are clean and affordable. Staff is helpful, specially Gunjan mam. My whole experience has been amazing. Best breakfast and dinner in the resort restaurant. Can’t wait for my next visit.

If you are here for the match, there is no better place to stay in Dharamshala. If you are NOT here for the match there is no better place to stay in Dharamshala. The rooms at every floor and in every side of the hotel are unique and provide the best views and experiences. The housekeeping staff is top notch as they ensure immaculate cleanliness. Food options at the hotel will spoil you with its variety and is out and out delicious. Do checkout their terrace for an amazing evening enjoying the sunset under the shadows of the Dhauladhars. Hotel also has a highly efficient travel desk - if you get worried about how you would get around once you are at the hotel, don’t be. Special Mentions to Ashish Ji who serves at LOL cafe and Gunnpowder for the morning breakfast. And Bhupinder Ji from the travel desk.

Good property with an amazing view of mountains and river .We visited dharamshala and Mcleodganj fr 2 days and opted for this property. Delighted to share that we hd an amazing experience in here .. They make sure to serve their guests in best possible way and ensure a hassle free stay in their property. Kudos to the FNB team .. I haven’t came across such level of personal attention being paid to each guest regarding their likes and dislikes. Mr Sahil Gupta Ji , the FNB ***ager himself ws available at our service everytime we entered the restaurant for food.. Such humble and polite *** who ws always ready to cater us at his best during our stay in the property. Overall an amazing experience.. Must opt for d polo if you are planning to visit dharamshala and Mcleodganj.
