Meiyuan Luxury Hotel (Hohhot East Station Museum)

The front desk staff saw I was with a child during check-in and proactively offered an extra pair of kids' slippers. They also marked some kid-friendly spots on the map, which was very helpful. The soundproofing in the room was better than expected; I didn't hear any noise from the hallway at night. The smart assistant (Xiao Du) and Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures were a nice touch, and the breakfast had a good variety. I forgot my power bank, but I was able to borrow one from the front desk.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. Parking was convenient and secure. The staff were warm and attentive, and any issues were promptly resolved. I'm very happy I chose this hotel.

Our family of three went to Hohhot and booked a Doraemon-themed family room. It had a small tent, which was perfect for kids under 10 years old 😂. There were two beds, one large and one small, and the environment was very quiet, so we slept soundly at night. The room was larger than expected, and I forgot to take photos. The parking lot has plenty of spaces and is free, so those coming by car don't need to worry at all (remember to get a vehicle pass from the front desk before leaving and turn off your vehicle's ETC before exiting). The soundproofing in the room was excellent; we barely heard any noise from the hallway. The Xiao Du smart assistant controlled the lights and curtains, which was quite fun. The gym had a few treadmills, but I didn't go.

The breakfast offers everything you need, and the milk tea and shao mai are just as good as those found outside.

So, I brought my kids to Hohhot and booked a superior twin room. Both beds were quite spacious, enough for a family of four to sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The 'Xiao Du' smart assistant controlling the room's facilities kept the kids entertained. The Hansgrohe shower had great water pressure and a comfortable flow, which was very refreshing. Check-in and check-out were both quick; the front desk staff were efficient and there were no delays. In the evening, they sent up two bowls of 'goodnight porridge,' which was soft and glutinous with plenty of millet – it warmed our stomachs and the kids loved it too. The breakfast had a good variety and fresh ingredients, unlike some hotels that just throw things together. The soundproofing in the room was decent; we didn't hear any noise from the corridor at night. The location was also easy to find, right behind the building, and convenient for catching a taxi. Overall, it felt like a very thoughtful stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The kids absolutely loved it! It's exactly how I pictured a family-friendly room. The entire room is decorated with Doraemon, featuring a super comfy floor mat and a tent for the kids to play in, plus small sofa chairs.
