Boai Hotel (Hohhot Hailiang Square Railway Station)

I'd recommend this place for people who don't drink much water. You only get one bottle per person per day, and with the strong winds and sand in Inner Mongolia these past two days, my partner and I only got two bottles total. If you need more, it's 2 yuan at the front desk. They made a point of saying 2 yuan isn't much money, but honestly, it's for some nameless, brandless water. I can buy a branded bottle like Nongfu Spring for 2 yuan, so why would I buy your water? Seriously. Also, be *extremely* careful not to stain the sheets, duvet covers, or soap dishes, etc., because they will charge you for every single item, and the cost depends on the size of the stain. You'll need to hold your food close when eating to avoid spilling anything on the bedding, or they'll charge you for that too. The hallway lights are off all day, even at night it's pitch black, so you'll definitely need your phone's flashlight to avoid tripping.

I'm a returning guest. The rooms are always spotless and odor-free. The location is fantastic, right near the train station. We always stay here for a night after our trips.

This hotel stay was fantastic! The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. The facilities are new, the air conditioning in the room cools down quickly, the Wi-Fi signal is strong, and the toiletries are of good quality. The service is exceptionally attentive; check-in at the front desk was quick, and they even proactively helped with our luggage, responding promptly to any needs. The cleanliness is impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, and the bathroom was dry and odor-free—a truly comfortable stay!
