"This is my first time staying at this hotel. The hotel's dining is impressive. There are rich and varied breakfasts, especially with the characteristics of Inner Mongolia, and a variety of afternoon teas. The atmosphere is very cozy and the environment is comfortable. It is great for taking photos and checking in. There is also evening porridge after 8 o'clock, which is so friendly for business travelers! After a tiring day, I returned to the hotel and had a bowl of porridge in the restaurant, looked at the lights outside the window at night, and returned to the clean and comfortable room to sweep away the fatigue of the day!"

"As luck would have it, we all work in the government affairs system, and we naturally developed a good impression before we even checked in! The hotel has a beautiful natural environment, standardized management, and is not far from various scenic spots in the city. The front desk staff who checked in at the Guobin Building 11 were polite, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and responsive. Zhang Yanan, the manager of the housekeeping department, personally sent us to the room, introduced the relevant facilities of the room, and sent welcome fruits. The area in the room is relatively large. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are still well maintained, and there are full of details everywhere, giving people a feeling of being at home. The breakfast is currently a set meal, with a reasonable price and good taste. Next time I come to Hohhot, I will choose Xincheng Hotel."

"The hotel is just 50 meters from the subway station, making subway access incredibly convenient. Our room on the 18th floor offered excellent views and was very quiet. The bedding was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There's a large supermarket nearby, which is very handy for groceries. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! It's within walking distance to major commercial complexes like Changle Palace, Maoye, and Wanda, so all essential amenities are easily accessible. "The butler service from JET Yan and Justin Yao was exceptional. They proactively anticipated my check-in needs and had the room prepared perfectly according to my requests. The room itself was clean, spacious, and featured incredibly soft and comfortable bedding and linens. I particularly appreciated the bathroom's three-fixture layout, with a separate bathtub, toilet, and shower area. As a thoughtful touch, we received a complimentary, high-quality, and very cute small camel plush toy. Another convenient feature was the ability to replenish mineral water from dispensers located in the elevator lobbies each evening. Both check-in and check-out processes were seamless, with no queues or unnecessary delays. The Sheraton standard of quality was consistently evident throughout my stay. Although the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Hohhot Station, it was remarkably quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep."

"Service: All the service staff are very enthusiastic, from parking to registration service are in place, guests will say hello, the hotel's training is in place.
Facilities: Because I brought a dog, I set a tatami room, the mattress was very comfortable and I slept well.
The breakfast is very rich, there are noodles, slightly wheat, Mongolian milk tea, sheep soup, etc., it is worth eating once.
Overall, I feel very lucky to stay in a pet-friendly and convenient hotel even if I can't expect the hotel's service to exceed my imagination. It is a very pleasant stay."

AAnonymous UserWho knows, family members! The hotel we stayed in this time was amazing! As soon as we entered the lobby, the warm lighting and exquisite decorations made it warm and grand. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were super new. The front desk and room service responded super quickly and responded to every request. The point is that the hotel is right in the city center, which is super convenient for travel. There are so many delicious foods around that I am dazzled. I will stay here again next time I come here!

AAyadanxiaohouziI primarily chose this hotel for its revolving restaurant on the top floor. It seemed quite busy with many guests. The standard room, typical of other Hampton by Hilton properties, was rather small, but the cleanliness was satisfactory. Its location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from General's Mansion. However, this particular location meant that taking a taxi often involved some traffic congestion. The entrance is right under an overpass, and the roads nearby are narrow, sometimes requiring a detour, which wasn't particularly convenient.
Breakfast offered a decent variety, though it wasn't overly lavish. The breakfast area was very crowded; I suspect many shared my idea of enjoying the view from the revolving restaurant while eating. But when it's that crowded, the 'scenery' quickly became the other guests! My kids found it quite exciting on the first day, but by the second day, the novelty had worn off.
Overall, I was satisfied. The service was excellent; the front desk staff kindly froze some dairy products for us in their fridge, and they were very patient when I needed to retrieve them for my child midway through our stay. The room rate was quite reasonable and offered good value for the overall experience.
A quick heads-up: there are two Hilton hotels in Hohhot, so make sure you don't go to the wrong one. I actually had an experience where I hailed a taxi and just said 'Hilton,' which took me directly to the other property. I didn't pay much attention at first, but the further we drove, the more I realized something was wrong, and sure enough, upon arrival, I confirmed it was the wrong hotel, haha.

DDavid1980The hotel is very nice, clean, and simple, with friendly and attentive staff, which made our stay comfortable overall. However, one key issue significantly impacted our experience. The hotel advertises that it has a gym, which was the primary reason we booked our stay, as we wanted to maintain our fitness routine while away from home and unable to use our usual gym membership.
Upon arrival, we discovered that the ”gym” consisted of only two treadmills and no other equipment. This was extremely disappointing, as a gym should provide a variety of fitness equipment to accommodate different workout needs. Advertising a facility as a gym when it is essentially just a room with treadmills feels misleading.
If your facility only has treadmills, it would be more accurate to advertise it as such, rather than labeling it a gym. A proper gym typically requires a minimum set of equipment, including:
1. Cardio Machines: At least treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes.
2. Strength Equipment: Free weights (dumbbells, barbells) and resistance machines.
3. Functional Training Tools: Items such as yoga mats, kettlebells, or medicine balls.
This would ensure clarity for guests who choose hotels based on their fitness facilities. While we appreciated the cleanliness and service, the lack of transparency regarding the gym was a major letdown.

GGuest UserThe room was quite clean, and while the decor showed its age, it didn't feel outdated. There were more hooks than in typical hotels, which made it very convenient to hang clothes and bags. The window soundproofing was excellent; as a light sleeper who is genuinely sensitive to noise, I barely heard any outdoor sounds once I was in the room. There was also no peculiar smell when I turned off the air conditioning. Crucially, I didn't see any bugs or get bitten by mosquitoes during my stay.
The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, offering good support. I usually prefer a firmer bed, so this one was just right – definitely much better than those so soft you feel like sleeping on the floor.
I really liked the hotel's location. Right downstairs, next door, is a large sports field, and just past the field is Qingcheng Park. A short stroll from there takes you to Kuanzhai Alley, which was perfect for someone like me who loves to walk around.
Breakfast was quite plentiful. They offered shaomai (steamed dumplings) and milk tea; I ended up eating 7 shaomai! 😂 The milk tea was unremarkable, but I much preferred the soy milk. The cheese selection was a bit limited, seemingly only cheddar and Gouda. I didn't see any other varieties.
Service-wise, it's a matter of personal opinion, I suppose. The staff I encountered were all quite young and didn't come across as particularly warm or enthusiastic. However, their service quality and efficiency were definitely on point. They were helpful in solving problems; for example, when I called for earplugs close to 11 PM, they were delivered to my room within minutes. A minor downside was that food delivery couldn't come directly to the room; I had to go downstairs to the lobby entrance to pick it up.
I stayed at three different hotels over three nights in Hohhot, intending to compare them all. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it's highly likely I'll choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The environment is quiet and elegant, dotted with green plants, the atmosphere is warm, and the stay is very comfortable. Parking is available right at the entrance, and there's also a small parking lot in the back, which was incredibly convenient! The receptionist was very kind and helpful, assisting us in finding a great parking spot and proactively offering to help with our luggage. Our room was spotless. We had requested a room close to the elevator, and it was *so* close it genuinely caught us off guard!

AAnonymous UserLet's start with cleanliness. Given the hotel's low star rating, I probably shouldn't have had high expectations, but I was genuinely disgusted. When I went to use the toilet, I found dried yellow urine on the seat. I didn't think to take a picture at the moment; I just quickly disinfected and cleaned it myself. Because I didn't get a photo, I couldn't report it to the hotel, which was really frustrating. It's been so long since I stayed in such a low-tier hotel that I actually wondered if this was just a common issue for them.
Second, the toothbrush provided was very low quality – I strongly advise bringing your own! Some bristles came off and got stuck in my throat; I nearly ended up in the hospital!
Third, bottled water isn't available at the front desk; you have to request it for room delivery. This can be inconvenient if you need water first thing in the morning before heading out! I recommend asking for it to be delivered to your room the night before. (On the plus side, however, I must commend them for still being able to hand-deliver water to the room even close to midnight! 👍)
Fourth, the hairdryer in the room was also quite weak. But again, perhaps that's just par for the course in a lower-tier hotel.
Fifth, the water pressure at the sink was quite low, but the shower pressure was surprisingly good!
Sixth, the room was pleasantly quiet, not noisy at all!
Seventh, the location is very convenient for getting around.
