Toan's restaurant has a chef who has served guests gastronomically for many years at the Victoria Hotel on Cua Dai Beach. There are many restaurants in Hoi An, but there is only 1 where Mrs. Khanh cooks. My wife and I have been traveling to/through Vietnam for many years, often for many weeks and visiting nice culinary opportunities. There is no such thing as impossible, so she has many Vietnamese but certainly also Western items on the menu. In short, something for everyone and in our opinion the recommendations are...Beef Scewer with sticky rice and home-made soy sauce and the Papaya salad whether or not vegetarian. The typical Hoi An dishes white rose and fried wonton are of course also on the menu.

Great place for a peaceful stay, within walking distance to the old town. Room was very clean and specious, well equipped. The host offers us bicycles (free of charge) also helped us to rent a motorbike(in great condition which is not so common here). Various breakfast with fresh fruits was included and they were awesome! Family runs also a restaurant. Great food (with many vegetarians options) delicious fresh juices. You can taste real Vietnamese cuisine as well as western food. Great quality, prepared with hart, made from fresh local products. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful find in Hoi An! A lovely, welcoming place to stay within walking distance of everything. The owner and staff were also so helpful with their recommendations and local knowledge. We had free use of bicycles and the attached restaurant (Toan’s) served delicious food. Great value and worth a stay.

Stayed here for a few days at the end of Dec. A little gem and amazing value for money. Light airy, clean rooms and an amazing owner who cannot do enough for you to have a great stay. Highly recommend a stay here. There is also a restaurant serving amazing food.

I had a great time whilst staying here, the host was welcoming. She arranged transport from airport and a transfer back. I got recommend this place via a traveller when I was visiting Sapa. She’s really lovely, bed was soft and the premise is very clean. It’s a 10 min cycle into city and the host provides the bikes.

Strawberry Garden Homestay is a lovely place located in a calm street of Hoi An, but still close to the both the busy citylife and the beautiful Old Town. The place is run by the nicest family, and they are always positive, available, kind and helpful! Here you are not only a guest, but you feel like a part the family. The rooms is of good quality, with great beds and your own bathroom. It is clean, tidy and charming. In the garden the family also has a restaurant, which serves all types of food. I have tried several dishes, and all of them has been amazing! Perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a drink. I would highly recommend to stay some nights here, to get to know the place and the family better. I feel at home and very lucky for getting to spend so much of my time in Vietnam just here. You will not regret coming here!

Highly recommend staying here, khan and her family are so wonderful and welcoming. The garden is not only beautiful to look at but delicious, khan teaches a cooking class where she will run off into the garden to pick fresh herbs and fruit for the recipe you are working on. Me and my boyfriend did the cooking class and khan is not only an incredible cook but had a huge menu for us (shrimp and pork pancakes, spring rolls, lemongrass chicken, literally the best fish soup I've ever had, green papaya salad) it was so much food we had it for lunch the next day. Khan even made us a take away bagged lunch for our train ride. Breakfast is included in the price (also has fresh veggies/herbs/fruit from the garden) and you can enjoy it all from your balcony over looking the garden or in the garden. The family has the cutest dog named lucky who will sleep by your feet.

Strawberry Garden Homestay is a lovely place to visit and stay. We stay there for 4 weeks this year and have been from 2015 until 2019(before Covid) Mrs Kanh is a kind lady who always tries to please her guests with..whatever it takes. She and her husband always make you feel like you are part of the family. When you want to taste the real Vietnam food and hospitality of the locals, you should visit them and experience it for the most!! Remember that you don't have the luxury of an expensive resort, but the hospitality and relaxed accommodation of a local family for less money. We are more than satisfied and recommend it to everyone.

I found this place while cycling along the road into town.It has a beautiful garden with many colourful flowers.There is a pool next door which is available to use. Toa^n is an excellent chef.She uses fresh vegetables from hers and her sisters garden.The rooms are clean a little worn but air conditioned and comfortable beds.There are free bikes to use and it is only 10 minutes ride to the old town.Backpackers stay here so it is very nice chatting to the other guests.Try to stay at least four nights and you will enjoy a wonderful experience.
