Red Flower Cottages Homestay

From start to finish Kim makes you feel like the most important person in the Homestay. From arranging pick to drop off. I stayed in the lily room this time around and was superb. Clean. Tidy. Well equipped. From the amazing banana pancakes in the morning to the security guard on the gate last thing at night. Everything was just perfect for me. Travelling alone Kim always made time and spoke to me whenever she passed. Which was superb. Such a lovely host. 100% will return for another visit.

My Brother and his Wife have stayed here several times over the last few years and spoke very highly of it. Kim and all her family are lovely and made our stay here (17 days) feel like a second home. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and serviced pretty much daily . Breakfast is freshly prepared and there is a great choice. Kim will arrange trips or a car for the day and prices are competitive, pay as you leave. We had some laundry done as well so that’s helpful. Water is on tap via a filter unit so that’s really helpful and there is reasonable priced beer and snacks in the fridge. The homestay is in a great location for food and beach and a 10 minute “Grab” (like Uber) taxi ride will take you into old town which is super busy and getting back to red flower and the peace makes for a perfect combination. We look forward to returning in a couple of years.

From start to finish Kim and her team were fantastic. So so friendly. The place is a hidden gem. So close to A bang beach,shops and restaurants. My room was superb,cleaned every day and a laundry service that was super quick. From a friendly morning breakfast from the team to a good evening from the ‘night watch man’ Would highly recommend this place. I stayed 15 nights and didn’t want to leave. Perfect place in a perfect area.

Charming quaint and homely Homestay !More like a boutique hotel professionally run by Kim who cannot help but please her guests …..it’s a fabulous spot as said by others -quiet, pretty ,welcoming ,secure warm and fabulous.The rooms are lovely clean and spacious but mostly it is Kim who shines a light of good fortune and knowledge on every visitor

This place felt like a home away from home. Our villa was large and comfortable and had everything we needed for a very relaxing stay by the beach. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the manager Kim was like a ray of sunshine and we quickly became very close. Kim went over and beyond to make our stay exactly what we wanted by booking all our tours and transfers and even had a friend come and give me a pedicure on our daybed on our deck…I felt very spoilt. We had problems with a flight booking and Kim tried on a few occasions to fix this for us by phoning the airline on our behalf which we are truly grateful for. Each morning our delicious breakfast would be brought to our bamboo setting on our balcony…we would chose from a menu the day before. The cottages are in a quiet location even though they are close to restaurants, spas, a pharmacy etc and only about 100 metres from a nice section of beach that had daybeds and umbrellas. It’s like an oasis after a night in the old town of Hoi An and only a short taxi ride away. We loved our stay here so much and vowed to return one day. I would highly recommend staying at Red Flower Cottages homestay.

Red Flower homestay was a tremendous chance discovery! Having never been to An Bang we weren't sure what to expect but were smitten by the attention from Kim and her staff. She organised our airport transfer and met us at the gates of the homestay. Our cottage was at the end of the garden, comprising a kitchen/sitting room, bedroom with an en-suite and a terrace. Bedroom had air-conditioning and a mosquito net, and the fridge in the kitchen had a fully stocked 'minibar' at much more reasonable prices than you see in a hotel. The staff were very friendly, set up anti-mosquito coils on the terrace every evening and cleaned the cottage every day. Kim helped us with recommendations for restaurants and, very importantly, a great tailor in Hoi An. Breakfast was available on request and included juices, hot drinks and Western food options as well as several local noodle specialties. We had a great relaxed stay during which we were very welcome. All in all, we felt right at home and left determined to come back.
