The Quin Riverside Villa

So very glad we chose to stay here. We loved it. The rooms feel upmarket and are spotless. We had a peaceful balcony overlooking the wetland area away from the hustle and bustle, but only a 5 min easy bicycle ride to Ancient Town area. (They have bikes for a few dollars a day, which a perfect way to explore the area). Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a lovely outdoor setting for eating. The best part was the warmth of the staff. We felt like we stayed with family. And they even went out of their way to assist us when an ATM "ate" our bank card by personally escorting us to the bank and talking on our behalf to have our card returned. Wonderful service!! Highly recommended.

Even though it's on a main street, it's on an island away from old town so it's quiet. The hosts are lovely and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the free bikes as we went biking every day through the quiet lanes in the rice paddies to the north and south of town. We also enjoyed the breakfasts - fantastic cook and a good variety in the buffet spread. The pool is small but very clean. We mostly lazed around it and watched the river. We had a riverview room on the second floor. There's a little balcony with two chairs and a table. There's quite a bit of brush so you can't see a whole lot of the river, but occasionally, boats putter by and a couple of times water buffalos swam across the river and came to graze underneath us. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. You can walk to old town where there are lantern boats, street food, market and lots of tourists.

I spend hours researching where to stay. Save yourself time. Just book Ho and Van's lovely boutique hotel. Superb views over river and marshes at back, sounds of nature and grazing/swimming water buffalo. Best breakfast in Vietnam so far in 3 weeks. Freshly made and imaginative items different each day. Excellent fruit and juices. Small attractive covered pool and terrace. Decor and fittings smart and well maintained. Very warm and informative welcome from Ho and all staff friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, comfortable and smart. Bathtub with nice view! Van currently runs her tailoring business from the hotel and it is a professional and friendly service. Had a dress made in stunning silk quickly with fittings and adjustments. Impressed and highly recommend. There is a small and quite new vegetarian restaurant close by which was recommended to us by Dutch guests and was indeed v good value and tasty. A flat walk takes you past shops and over a bridge into the old town. 10 mins? Easy. Nice to be out in the quiet but close to town. Hired a really nice modern scooter from the hotel and explored. Recommend heading to An Bang beach but at quiet end. Find little road on which Daisy An Bang is, park at end, enjoyv good lunch at Tree Coconut and then free loungers on beach. My partner had his birthday during our stay and Ho surprised us with a lovely personalised cake, singing and flowers at breakfast. SO kind and special. This couple and their staff are excellent and deserve great success with their business. A brilliant hotel choice for Hoi An. Would stay at Quin Riverside again.

Clean, friendly and great location, away from the bustle of Hoi An city center but within walking distance.

We loved it. The hotel was really nice with very comfy rooms. Nice pool and garden and a very good breakfast. The owners mr Ho and Van were super nice and always trying to help you and the best is they are great taylors! They made for us really nice clothes and super fast. The whole experience was great, we recommend it a 100%

Wonderful stay at a lovely hotel. Staff were really friendly and accommodation was very clean and well presented. There was a good selection for breakfast. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend.

The whole place was spotlessly clean, the staff extremely friendly. It’s in a very peaceful area and only a 1k walk to the ancient town centre, or a pleasant push bike ride that are supplied free by the hotel. Mr Ho was so helpful and courteous and arranged anything we asked for including motorcycle hire. This really was the best hotel we have stayed in, in South East Asia, and that very much includes value for money.
