The Circ Powered by Sonder

I stay in hotels around the country 200 nights a year and this is the second negative review I’ve left, it was dirty, the air conditioner in the room sounded like a 747, and the toilet would not flush. It was so bad that I out early (other guests were not happy and were doing the same), was told at the front desk it wouldn’t be a problem and to call ******* for a refund, it turns out it was a problem and ******* cannot generate a refund without Sonders permission, which they will not give; I also spoke to the rudest and most unprofessional customer service person I have ever interacted with (based on his accent he was from/in the UK). I cannot tell everyone loudly enough to avoid this property and this brand of hotels, there are numerous other properties in this price range that you will be much happier with (Marriott, Wyndham, IHG, etc); everything from their “online”‘check in system and passcodes, to their service at the location, to their knowledge of refund policy, to their customer service people are the worst I’ve ever encountered. If I could give them a zero I would.

Overall it’s a beautiful property. It smelled very good in the lobby. The room looked like the picture except for the balcony. It was small. I didn’t like the bed frame as it seems to be too big for the mattress so I kept hitting my legs as I got off the bed. The mattress was too soft and the pillows as well. I know some people would appreciate that but I like a soft but firm bed. They should think about putting a microwave in the rooms. Also should put a hand held shower head in the bathroom. The area the hotel was in seemed abandoned. A lot of construction was being done and there was a lot of empty store fronts. Maybe in a few years it would be more lively. I did go here to rest so it served its purpose. I won’t be back

Very complicated entry system elevator and to room. Asking for far too much personal info web checkin.

The only complaint we have is the staff at the reception is never there!!! We left our suitcases to store while we went out for lunch and couldn’t get them back for a good 20 min after calling and texting all numbers that were available!!! We could’ve missed or flight! We weren’t the only ones trying to get a hold of the receptionist. The hotel is nice we stayed there only for one night. They have a really good restaurant on the roof, lots of caffès within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel check in was a longggggg process but other than that food was good and it was close by the beach

The property staff was not helpful at all. The lobby area was clean, smelled good and was trendy but the floors were the complete opposite. Once off elevator it smelt like musty mold and this smell was in rooms as well. I had to have windows open entire stay. The fan for the ac in the room made a terrible sound every time it was on that made it hard to sleep. The pictures online were nothing like room looked like . The bathroom were not fully cleaned

Could not use the tv at any time during the five days. The staff did not know how to make the tv work. At the end i bought some remote batteries, the hotel did not have batteries. The is almost no staff available, and when the are, they don’t know what to do.

Amazing location and great building with an awesome restaurant on site. Pool, roofdeck bar and gym looked nice but I didn't get to use. However the room seemed to be pretty beat up, lots of chips in walls, paint, etc. The mattress was BEYOND overused it sagged in the middle making sleeping very uncomfortable and made a V when you laid on it. Room was small but nice bathroom
