This Hampton Inn could use a bit of a refreshing. It is in a great location for dining options and shopping for forgotten items. It was a short, $16 Uber from the airport and we stayed here overnight before leaving for a cruise.
The breakfast area is not big enough to accommodate the number of guests there like us, leaving on cruises. Hours were only until 9 and the grumpy host was shutting the doors just before 9 when clearly it was still a busy time.
When I asked to extend checkout an hour (until noon) the exasperated sigh I got from the desk clerk was not appreciated. Iron in the room need to be replaced!
A bit disappointed for the Hampton brand, but I’m willing to give them the chance for redemption in the future.
