Booked direct ., Ticked a Box for Pet., No charge was shown [ Their website says Fee MAY be charged ., Manager Now tells me Always Charged ! , For DEEP Clean , absolute rubbish . Given Rm. 8, Why ? Manager tells us now Pet Free ! --- Sorry , Now , not a lot like any Photo., needs urgent attention. Full Cost + Pet charge . requested on check in. OK., bit unusual. The Food is Excellent The Service Excellent , Not too Expensive . But being a short ride in Cumbria thought we may be back often ., Not Before Changes .

Cold stay
I stayed in room 6. The room was so cold throughout the night, to get a comfortablesleep i had to get up and put more clothes on. The bathroom was also freezing and the decor was very tired with tiles coming away from the wall.
The staff however were very pleasantand and the food was of a good quality.
