The Sunday lunch was excellent. Tender roast beef, crispy potatoes, nicely cooked veg. Tasty Yorkshire pudding. Will definitely be back. 6x cold and nutty. Friendly and attentive staff. Good atmosphere.

The Old Ham Tree was a perfect base for a weekend conference in Bath and about half the price of anywhere in the city itself. The welcome was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a good selection of toast and cereals for breakfast with extra tea and coffee available in the bedroom. We never had to wait to access to the shared bathrooms. There was plenty of parking and we were able to come and go as we liked. The only regret is that we didn't make it back in time to try the food from the pub which we would have liked to do. Considering the price it would be pretty hard to beat.

This is a lovely pub with great food although a slightly limited menu. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only let down is the Breakfast room and the Breakfast. Unfortunately the cups were dirty and the milk was dated the day we arrived. The only choice for Breakfast was cereal or toast.

We stayed four nights at this lovely pub. Excellent value for money if you are worried about your budget. Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Separate shared room for continental breakfast. Toast and cereal which was just what I wanted. Facilities are shared. I was worried about that. It was fine. One room has a shower and toilet. Another room a toilet only. Both very clean. Didn’t have to queue once as it’s shared by maximum of 6 people. Owners very friendly and helpful. To note although this is a lovely location. It’s better if you have a car. We used taxis on two days to get to other towns which was easy. Lovely base for a friend’s 50th birthday party in the area.

Only one night but had a lovely stay. We took a walk to the other place in the village but it isn't a pub so came back to the Old Ham Tree for a drink. Friendly smile from one of the girls behind the bar when we walked in. Great atmosphere with locals with their dogs, people playing games at the table, a small private party and a group of lads out for a meal. We ordered food, which was lovely. Rooms are above the pub so expect some noise from below. Our room was spotless, with tea and coffee and a new hand basin. Bedside lights and great blackout curtains. The secondary glazing kept out any street noise. This is an old building and I would have loved to know more about it. The room and duvets were warm and we slept very well. . Basic breakfast was fine. Hot water in the shower. Free parking. What more could you want? Incredible value for a couple.
