A great feature of the home is the very large, covered lanai with its living and dining areas where you can watch the famous Kona sunsets, breaching whales in the winter, and parasailers all year long. The house is close enough to the water that you can hear large surf in the early morning and will lull you to sleep at night. Spacious guest rooms are found in the home with the following sleeping arrangements: Main level Guest room 1: King size bed Main level Guest room 2: Queen size bed Main level Guest room 3: Bunkbed and pull-out trundle with four twin size beds Downstairs Guest room 4: King size bed Downstairs Guest room 5: Two Queen size beds Split-zoned A/C units are available in bedrooms along with ceiling fans in every bedroom and living area help carry the already cooling breezes from the ocean. Other things to note - Locals (Big Island residents) must get approval from listing host prior to booking. - County mandated quiet hours are 9pm to 7am.
