WWeihunbabaI have been to Xishuangbanna many times. After the busy May Day holiday, I wanted to come here to catch up with friends and relax. I have stayed in many hotels in Banna. Maybe it was because I wanted to experience something new that I spent a wonderful day.
The hotel's services are all very good. It may be that the rainy season is approaching in Banna and the drizzle here is continuous. The driver who came to pick me up called me when I was about to arrive at the station, and was waiting for me at the exit. After meeting me, he took the initiative to hold an umbrella and carry my bag for me.
There was another unexpected surprise when we arrived at the hotel. It must have been the May Day holiday, so the place didn't seem busy. The lady at the front desk told me that there are hot spring rooms and gave me a free upgrade experience, which was really great.
You can soak in the hot springs in the room and stroll among the rice fields.
Different from the urban areas and Gaozhuang where I lived before, this is a place where I can relax physically and mentally. The front desk and butlers in the store made me feel relaxed and natural, and I praise this place from the bottom of my heart!
(There are many restaurants in the market not far away. The Dai barbecue that my friends and I had in the evening was very delicious)

SSara9888888If you're tired of the crowds, come stay at Muxu for a few days. Let the mountain breeze clear your anxiety and the lush greenery soothe your fatigue. I finally understand why some people choose to 'go up the mountain.' Just sitting on the balcony, listening to the wind and watching the clouds, doing absolutely nothing, is incredibly healing.
The hustle and bustle of Xishuangbanna belongs to Gaozhuang, while the tranquility belongs to Muxu. There's no noise in the mountains, just the peaceful company of an entire forest, making for truly deep sleep.
Afternoon tea time: Time is meant to be wasted. A book, a cup of tea, a lazy afternoon spent daydreaming (the hotel provides exquisite afternoon tea).

GGuest UserI stayed at this place in Xishuangbanna, and while it’s not exactly a traditional hotel, it felt more like a short-stay apartment rental. The room came with free pickup service from the airport or railway station, which was very helpful — although we did have to wait a little bit for the driver. A friendly lady eventually found us at the drop-off point near the building and took us to the room.
There’s no reception or extra facilities — it’s just the room itself. The room is starting to show some signs of wear, but overall it was still comfortable and acceptable for a short stay. The location is actually great: it’s within walking distance to the famous night market, making it easy to explore in the evenings.
My stay happened during the Songkran Festival, so the whole area was full of energy, water fights, and celebrations. Because of this, my experience might be a little biased — things were messier and livelier than usual, but it added to the fun!
If you’re looking for a simple, well-located place and don’t mind a no-frills experience, this is a good option — especially during festival time!

JJc_1502Extremely satisfied! The auntie cleaned the room immaculately. The cream-style decor is incredibly photogenic, and the room itself is huge. The off-season price was a steal!
**Facilities:** The room is equipped with a Xiaodu smart voice assistant, making it super convenient to turn lights on/off and open/close curtains. The room is incredibly spacious! There's a massive bathtub that feels big enough for eight people, haha! The amenities are comprehensive, including a projector, a mini-bar, and a tatami area for tea and relaxation. It would be perfect if the LED strip lights were flicker-free!
**Hygiene:** The cleanliness was truly excellent. When I checked in, the auntie had just finished cleaning, and there was a faint scent of disinfectant. Cream-style decor is hard to maintain, but the room looked really clean. Thumbs up! I saw the auntie diligently cleaning all morning.
**Environment:** No need to elaborate on the environment. Downstairs, there's a clean, blue swimming pool with a robot cleaner, giving off total vacation vibes. Since it's located on the side of Gaoguang, it wasn't noisy at all at night.
**Service:** There's an airport/station pick-up service, and they confirm the time before check-in. The driver gives a brief introduction to Xishuangbanna. Breakfast was also decent, with freshly cooked rice noodles. We also received a complimentary double afternoon tea, though we didn't have time to enjoy it.
**Overall:** High value for money. The room is large and very clean, and it's less than a ten-minute walk from the main entrance of Gaoguang, making it very convenient for catching buses to various attractions! Nice!

DDhanya KimberleyI booked 2 hotels in this area, for half of the week each. I had chosen them both due to their pools and beautiful looking rooms/facilities.
The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my messages on WeChat. However, they admitted it was their first time having non-Chinese guests and there were various issues that they needed to improve. The tea ceremony left my parents confused, as there was no translation tool used, and very little explanation as to the session. In other situations, I have had tea ceremonies that involve explanation of how the tea is made, how it should be drunk, what sort of people drink this type of tea etc. (To overcome the disappointment of this, we were gifted a pack of the delicious tea however).
We selected this hotel based on the pool facilities mostly and were very disappointed to arrive to dirt-filled pool water that had branches and other debris inside. The staff were very apologetic and explained the recent storms caught them unawares. However, little action was taken to clean the pools until I raised this matter. When we went to the second hotel of my choice, they had more pools, all of which were clean and full of water, even though the same storm would have hit them.
The photo shoot was great, and the photographer was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and the seating area was nice. We did not use the sitting area within the pool section however, due to the dirty pool etc.
The breakfast was only served to us on our first day, and then a buffet on the second day. For us, we personally preferred the buffet so that we could select our portion sizes ourselves.
I think over time, the staff will become more confident with foreign guests and this resort will be greatly enjoyed.

GGuest UserThe environment is average, and a small apartment with simple decoration and two people stays for 1,500 yuan. The room type was changed without any communication, and the split-level room was changed to 2 standard rooms. There is a kettle, table, sofa and bed. And then there was nothing else, not even bottled purified water... We had no choice but to boil some water, but there were no cups. One person asked for a disposable cup, but they didn't have any. When we wanted to have one, they said they were busy and would send it later. We didn't get any cups until we checked out, so we didn't get a sip of water... Maybe they were really busy, so we didn't make a fuss. Later at night, the temperature dropped, and I wanted to turn on the air conditioner but there was no remote control... It wasn't smart either... We quickly slept for one night, and the price-performance ratio was not high, so we stayed one night and checked out without extending the stay~ Among hotels of the same price range of 1,500, this is one with relatively low price-performance ratio~ Of course, I saw that the everyday prices are relatively low, and it is indeed understandable that the level of 200-300 is~ It's just that during the Spring Festival, the prices rose to the same level as star-rated hotels, but the supporting facilities and services did not reach star levels, but the high prices during the Spring Festival are understandable~ So we think this is a matter of mutual consent, we will come to Banna again, but we will not choose to come during the Spring Festival, haha, it's too high, too exaggerated haha

GGuest UserThe room is on the top floor of the Peacock Building, with a good view, a three-bedroom and one-living house. Large space. There is also a balcony connected together, suitable for dinner at night. The layout of the room is very good. The handsome guy at the front desk was very good, and it was very satisfying to rent this kind of house when traveling. It is also very convenient to go to Gaozhuang. (The landlord did not say that he would give praise, I am not dragging), it is recommended if he feels good. Don't worry too much about traveling, live comfortably, and have fun is the most important thing.

WWilliam10008The owner is a very, very thoughtful man from Northeast China. Seeing that I was a young woman and worried I wouldn't be able to carry my luggage, he offered to help me carry it upstairs. He's available 24/7 by phone. The location is excellent; it's just a short walk to a taxi stand and very close to the Starlight Night Market, only a few turns away. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. I mentioned I'm a light sleeper, and he kindly arranged a very quiet room for me on the far side – truly a peaceful oasis. I also rented their electric scooter, and the owner charged it for me every night, so I didn't have to worry about it at all. It was fully charged when I woke up, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Traveling with such kindness made me feel so warm and cared for. Thank you, Uncle! This experience has further enhanced my positive impression of people from Northern China.

However, the room has a garden view and you can't hear the bustle and noise of the street. It is too friendly to me who is mentally weak.
