Valkjärvi 2 is a lovely small round log cabin perfect, for example, for couples seeking a peaceful getaway. Next to the cabin, there is a bridge and duckboards leading to a small island, where you'll find a campfire site. The island may occasionally have other visitors. Note due to the water level, the island's girder/bridge is not yet available - the island can be reached by rowing a boat. Use of extension trees / bridge at your own risk. 47 km to the east of Lahti, Lake Iso Valkjärvi 20 m, shallow, gradually deepening sandy bottom, a pier, and rowing boat. The log cabin, built in 1995 and renovated in 2023, living room/kitchen, bedroom with a double bed and two armchairs, a WC corner with a curtain, and a sauna with wood-burning sauna stove and shower. There's a partly covered terrace with a gas grill and a campfire site by the shore. The maximum occupancy of the cabin (2) can be exceeded by one small child sleeping on a mattress or a travel cot, which the owner can provide upon request.

40 km to the east from Lahti, river Kymijoki 700 m, gently deepening hard bottomed swimming beach at boat site, rowing boat. Wooden cabin 1890, renovated in 2000, living room/kitchen (19 m²) with spreadable bed for two, bedroom (13 m²) with two beds, WC and shower in washroom, hall. Yard sauna with dressing room and wood-burning sauna stove, water pipe in summer use, in winter time water must be carried. Distance to the boat site/swimming beach is 700 m. On the beach, there is a rowing boat and barrel sauna on the top of the pontoon (water must be carried). Wood shelter. Pets not allowed for the reservations made on 31.8.21 or later. Please, notice that cottage is not suitable for the persons allergic for pets. The cabin's well water may have a little humus, so the owner brings drinking water. Humus can slightly stain e.g. laundry (there is no washing machine at the property).

Log cabin 1997, living room/kitchen (13 m²) with spreadable bed for two, bedroom with (9 m²) two beds, access to sauna via terrace, toilet and shower in dressing/washroom, wood-burning sauna stove in sauna. There is a separate mini oven and two hot plates in the kitchenette. Composting toilet (also for winter use) and wood shelter in the yard.
