The observatory at Grassholme Reservoir offers star-gazing experiences.The village has several cafes, an excellent pub, superb fish & chip shop, a Co-op open every day until 10pm, a GP surgery, pharmacy, newsagents and pizza take-away. Parking is on the main road and there are EV chargers at Bowlees Visitor Centre and Mickleton Services.
