The Golden Hotel

The room is spacious and new, very affordable, with a great environment. The linens and bathroom are clean and hygienic, and the air circulation is good. It offers excellent value for money, and the owner is very kind. Highly recommended.

Do NOT book this place, the service is absolutely terrible. I booked and paid for a room through Trip.com a week or two in advance. When I arrived at the hotel around 10 PM, they told me they had no rooms available and asked me to wait for someone to take me to another hotel. I waited until after 11 PM for someone to show up, and they said the other hotel was two blocks away. It was already past 11 PM, and they expected me to walk two blocks with them? Who knows where they would take me! That's just terrifying. I absolutely refused and had an argument with the manager. Suddenly, they 'found' a room for me, and I finally checked in just before midnight. I'm completely baffled. Even though the price was cheap, around 300 yuan, this kind of unreliability is unacceptable, especially since I had already paid for a non-cancellable booking in advance.

For Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, this place is quite good. It's clean, hot water is available, and the bed is relatively wide. Overall, it's a decent option. The location is convenient for transportation, being close to the MTR station.

Fantastic location, incredibly easy to get around. Shopping and dining are super convenient, and there are plenty of transport options!
