The Fleming

First time here, took a little while to find the entrance. But once I did, I was warmly welcomed. After staying for two days, I found the room to be exquisite and comfortable, clean and tidy, with excellent service. Definitely recommended.

Surprisingly good value for money, the hotel's design is aesthetically pleasing, and transportation nearby is convenient. I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included, though I only tried it once as it was a simple Western breakfast. For the next two days, I went out for breakfast instead. I had a very comfortable stay and would likely book this hotel again on my next visit to HK.

This nautical-themed hotel features cabin-like doors and a retro, yet very clean, decor. The medium-sized room was perfect for one person. I could lay my 28-inch suitcase flat by the bed, and there was a desk for working. It came with a kettle, a capsule coffee machine, a hairdryer, and a speaker with a Type-C charging cable – very convenient overall. The bedding was clean, the mattress was super comfortable, and they even offered two types of pillows (soft and firm), which was excellent. The bathroom was spacious with a good wet/dry separation. Overall, the room felt quite open and not at all cramped. For its price, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is extremely convenient. It's a 30-minute walk to Central for meetings or a 15-minute metro ride. Downstairs, there are congee and dessert shops that I've been visiting for over a decade and are still going strong. The Italian restaurant on the hotel's ground floor is also quite good.

I was very satisfied with this hotel, after a long search. Most non-star-rated hotels in Hong Kong tend to be old and small. I only dared to book this hotel after I had my flight tickets secured, as it was non-refundable. The Fleming Hotel really impressed me; I loved it. After carefully checking its location and reviews, I booked it immediately. It's located in Wan Chai, a great location. Taxis and private cars can pick up and drop off right at the hotel entrance. Although the room wasn't huge – it is Hong Kong after all, where space is a premium – it was very clean, tidy, and stylish, with a tasteful, retro-chic vibe that I absolutely adored. I received complimentary breakfast at the Italian restaurant on the first floor through Ctrip, as I stayed for multiple nights. It was very authentically Italian, and while the selection was fixed, I really enjoyed it, especially since it was free. The air conditioning in the room was refreshingly cool, and each area felt very private. Everything in the mini-fridge, including snacks, was chargeable, unlike in mainland China where welcome drinks are often provided. I can respect that, though! 😂 Overall, my stay was very comfortable. I don't expect overly enthusiastic service, just normal communication. I'd probably choose this hotel again next time I visit Hong Kong; it offers good value for money.

Right from the moment I stepped in, I received a warm welcome! Check-in was quick, efficient, and communication was smooth. I even got a room upgrade, which was clean, tidy, very spacious, and had many lovely highlights! Every day I returned, the room was immaculately tidied. The soundproofing was excellent. The Western-style breakfast had slight variations daily and tasted great! The location is convenient, with easy access to convenience stores and dining options nearby. Highly recommend staying here! And the air conditioning in the room was excellent!
