"Efficient check in and out. Location is perfect. Just take lift to lobby then it’s connected to a shopping mall with all kind of restaurants and shops. Also just above the MongKok East station. No matter you need to travel to which direction, Hong Kong island or new territories, just very convenient. No time to try the swimming pool this time. The Chinese restaurant at 3/F is good. service is warm. Have discount on food if you are hotel residence. Just the room is a bit dim. Room rate is reasonable . Overall is a nice hotel!"

"The AC wasn't cooling effectively, and the fan was quite noisy. The mattress was too soft for my liking, but the front desk was very helpful and arranged to have the top topper removed, which significantly improved the comfort. The food at the restaurant was good, and the buffet breakfast cost 262 RMB per person, including the service charge. All hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and provided highly efficient service. The in-room purified water dispenser was both eco-friendly and convenient. The microwave provided was also a thoughtful amenity."

"What an absolutely magical experience! The balcony with a pool view was incredibly comfortable. It poured rain in Hong Kong during our stay, but watching it from the balcony was surprisingly satisfying! The room had a huge, comfortable bed, giving off a truly regal vibe. On the 6th floor, there were musicians performing, making the atmosphere even more enchanting. The breakfast buffet was simply incredible! Getting to dine and take photos with Mickey Mouse was so much fun! It was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. There are shops on the hotel's ground floor, and we even found coupons in our room, which meant we didn't have to queue for souvenirs at the park."

"The weather in Hong Kong from September 4th to 6th was absolutely perfect, really enhancing our sea-view room experience. I felt incredibly blissful just lying on the hotel sofa in the afternoon, gazing at the sea and daydreaming. The hotel is conveniently located right by two ferry piers, making it super easy to get to North Point and Central. Our room was very well-equipped (a water dispenser was a fantastic touch, so no worries about not having water in the morning!). The service was excellent; as our room wasn't ready punctually upon check-in, they kindly offered us a complimentary breakfast for a day. And a special shout-out to the breakfast – it was incredibly diverse and plentiful, featuring Japanese, Cantonese, and Middle Eastern cuisines. All in all, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth choosing! 👍"

"This is an established hotel, and I chose it primarily for its convenience. The L-floor lobby offers a direct corridor to Langham Place, putting shopping, dining, and the MTR all within easy reach. It's also just a few minutes' walk from the Mong Kok stop for Airport Bus A21. My only minor complaint is that despite requesting a quiet room, I was still assigned one facing the street. Additionally, the air conditioning was quite chilly."

"Because my child loves the Harbour City and Star Ferry Pier area, we've stayed at one of the three Marco Polo properties every year. My favorite is Marco Polo Hong Kong – it's classic yet comfortable, and its lounge is better than the Gateway's. Last summer, during our stay, I experienced unprofessional and discriminatory treatment from the front desk staff and was given a low-floor sea view room facing a car park. Consequently, I left an honest negative review on Ctrip. This year upon check-in, it truly felt like the hotel had taken the Ctrip feedback to heart. They must have given specific instructions to both the front desk and lounge staff, as we felt exceptionally well looked after overall. The two gentlemen in the lounge, in particular, were incredibly kind, sincere, and attentive. The gentleman from the concierge who escorted us to the executive floor, who I believe is the head of concierge, was also very dedicated and conscientious. Just before taking us upstairs, he even saw an elderly person at the main entrance needing help and immediately directed staff to assist. Overall, I noticed the hotel has implemented some cost-saving measures; for instance, the executive floor toiletries are no longer single-use. However, I fully support and embrace all eco-friendly and waste-reducing initiatives. While the food range in the lounge has been slightly reduced, the quality remains consistently high. There also seem to have been some significant staff changes; the previous expatriate manager in the lounge is no longer present, and the front desk staff are much more approachable, not exhibiting the aloofness sometimes perceived from local staff before. Every single staff member, from top to bottom, now seems very down-to-earth, diligent, and dedicated – which is excellent. With such effective management, I wish them continued prosperity in Hong Kong's highly competitive hotel industry."

"Though we only stayed one night in Hong Kong Langham Hotel we felt that it's very difficult and rare to find such quality service hotel these days in Hong Kong. Breakfast is excellent. Valid parking is convenient though a bit expensive. I have no hesitant to recommend to visitors particularly in Tsim Sha Tsui shopping area."

"It was my mother's birthday on our check-out day, and the hotel's customer service team surprised us with a cake the night before. This was incredibly thoughtful and touched us deeply! The cake itself was also delicious. Beyond the exceptional service, the hotel's facilities and overall ambiance were fantastic. Its location is excellent too, roughly a 500-meter walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station and within easy walking distance to Victoria Harbour. Highly recommended!"

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.

Top Things to Do in Hong Kong

  • Victoria Peak Tram: To reach the summit of Victoria Peak, taking one of the world's oldest and most renowned Peak Trams is definitely an unforgettable experience! The entire railway is pulled by steel cables. The train climbs up the slope from an altitude of 28 meters to 396 meters (about 1,300 feet), and passengers can overlook the Victoria Harbour along the way. The tall buildings and thick bushes all seem to have fallen to one side. It's truly a wonderful feeling!
  • Temple Street Night Market: Temple Street Night Market, is a night market in Hong Kong that is full of authentic flavors. It is famous for its unique market atmosphere, a wide variety of goods and street snacks. To fully experience the charm of the Temple Street Night Market, it is recommended to visit after 8 p.m. At that time, the stalls are most complete and the atmosphere is the liveliest.
  • Chi Lin Nunnery at Sunset: Chi Lin Nunnery is a Buddhist temple located on Diamond Hill in Hong Kong, renowned for its unique Tang-style architecture and exquisite garden landscapes. It is recommended that tourists exit from Exit C2 of Diamond Hill MTR Station and follow the signs. Before entering the temple, one will first pass through the mountain gate and then reach the first courtyard, which features a lotus pond, rockeries and bonsai. Keep going and you will see the Heavenly Kings Hall, where there are Buddha statues and four statues of the Heavenly Kings.

GGuest UserThe room was optimally sized , providing a comfortable balance of space and functionality. A larger smart TV was highlight, offering excellent entertainment options like you tube . The air conditioning performed very well, maintaining a consistently pleasant temperature throughout the stay. A mini fridge was available, though its capacity was limited to a few cans of beverages, which may not be sufficient for guests requiring more storage.Overall , the room was well-equipped and provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

OOsca ChoiOur experience at the hotel was truly wonderful, thanks to its spacious rooms with modern amenities, professional yet courteous service, and prime location near key attractions. With a few adjustments to the breakfast variety, our stay would have been flawless. While the morning meal featured high-quality, flavorful dishes, the selection was somewhat restricted. Expanding the menu to include more diverse options-such as plant- based or gluten-free choices-would better accommodate different dietary needs and preferences. That said, the staff's outstanding hospitality truly stood out. They were warm, welcoming, and proactive, often anticipating our needs, whether arranging transportation or recommending local gems. Their dedication elevated our stay, making it both relaxing and memorable. We'd gladly return and look forward to seeing how the hotel continues to refine its offerings!

GGuest UserThis being my third stay, I emailed the correct hotel email address to request a certain  room and enquire abt room rates for extended stay. I never got a reply. The front desk, housekeeping & maintenance staff are always helpful.  Rooms are small, especially the toilet/shower situation but good enough for one person.  Could smell cigarette smoke in hallway. Obviously a guest. Don’t know if this was addressed. But it was a few consecutive days in a row.  Only one washing machine and one dryer for the entire hotel. But dryer really dries the clothes well.  The electricals can be an issue. USB ports don’t always work and the charging can be very slow. This is one issue that staff can’t seem to solve during my stay.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and easily accessible by airport bus A21/A22. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor, complete with a fridge and microwave. Due to Hong Kong's plastic reduction policy, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and towel, or you can purchase them at the front desk. The room looks exactly like the pictures. They provide a key card that doubles as an elevator and room key, so security feels quite high. In the quad room, there's an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. While small, it's perfectly functional. Downstairs, there are many fantastic snack shops, all serving delicious food! Transportation is very convenient, and the beds are quite comfortable and clean. There's a slight creaking sound when turning over, but it's acceptable. Roommates are a bit of a lottery; this time, I ended up with night owls who came back late, showered, and organized their belongings, which really disturbed my sleep. However, that's just the nature of shared accommodation. Despite that, I'm still quite satisfied with the room itself. Nearby, the Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei Police Station are great spots to check out, both within walking distance. And definitely try Chan Kee Roasted Goose – it's absolutely delicious!

GGuest UserVery nice hotel, however inside the room was a bit oldish furniture, not feeling very 100% clean to put my staff if it’s necessary on the floor.. nice view, with a pool.. you need to take a shuttle bus or bus to go to MRT to go to all other places, however it’s close to the airport. Staff are very respectful and friendly. Reasonable price, I will be back again however I will consider the distance from iconic spots as this was difficult when I wanted to return late as I had to take Uber which added to the price , the rest was easy and fun.

GGuest UserA charming guesthouse with a Hong Kong flair, it offered a lovely view, and I particularly enjoyed the small balcony. However, getting to and from the room was quite inconvenient. The elevator is located on the far side of the building, and even then, it only reaches the 7th floor, requiring guests to descend 4 flights of stairs to get to the accommodation. I opted for the staircase near the entrance instead, which still meant climbing 3 flights. Fortunately, I only had a backpack; I strongly advise anyone with heavy or multiple pieces of luggage to choose carefully. The space itself was adequate for a single person, but the wash basin was truly a nightmare. Squeezed between two load-bearing pillars, it was probably only 30cm wide, forcing you to turn sideways just to wash your hands. Washing your face was a real struggle. To make matters worse, if the tap was turned on too high, the floor drain couldn't cope and would leak water onto the floor. I'm stopping my complaints here!
