Holiday Inn Express LONDON HEATHROW T4 by IHG

Arrived at Heathrow T2 at noon, walked through a long corridor and took the shuttle to T4. It only took a few minutes to reach the hotel entrance. The front desk service was very friendly, and although the room was a bit small, it was very cozy. 🫰

Don't exit T4, it's just a parking lot out there. The hotel is right across but you can't walk directly, you need to use the link bridge. The rooms are numerous but a bit old. There were a lot of guests checking in, so booking in advance would get you a better deal. Breakfast starts really early, around 5 or 6 AM. Also, although there's a free train to T2, it's quite a distance. Be careful not to take the wrong train for T5 or T4; check the signs or ask for directions. You get a direct view of the runway and planes from the window.

Standard airport hotel for an overnight stay – clean, and the room size was decent. The breakfast was pretty standard, but then again, you can't expect too much in the UK. Getting to Terminal 4 is easy: you can use a dedicated通道 directly, then take the free airport train to other terminals. There's also a shuttle bus service to other terminals, and the front desk has the timetable. The bus to Terminal 5 costs £7. One thing to note: when I checked in, they charged me the full room rate. However, after contacting Ctrip customer service upon my return, they quickly refunded the discount difference from my booking. Ctrip's after-sales service is reliable.

This hotel is right inside Terminal 4, with access to both the Elizabeth Line and Piccadilly Line, making it incredibly convenient to get to central London. The hotel also fulfilled my requests for a quiet room facing the airport, which I had made when booking. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The hotel is located in T4, a few minutes' walk from a covered sky bridge. However, if you're coming from other terminals, you'll need to take the free metro and then walk through an underground passage and the covered sky bridge to get there. The room was small with only a tiny table, and it felt cramped for two people. The facilities are a bit old but clean. Breakfast is complimentary, and everything tasted delicious, which is a big plus. For a hotel near the airport, it offers good value for money.
