Hounslow Central Hotel

Booked for the continence of being walkable distance to Hounslow central tube station as I was going from Heathrow Modern building with the occasional appearance from the receptionist and with a small reception area and then a lift to get you up to the five floors. The single room they gave me was small with a single bed, small TV, fan, and a cubicle shower room that seemed too tight for my comfort It was only £66 and considerably cheaper than other local hotels.

It’s cheap and it’s clean but…………..it’s the most uncomfortable sleep that I’ve tried to have, the mattress squeaked with the springs that you could feel pressing into your back all night, never ever again………..I know you get what you pay for…….but

The room was the dirtiest we've ever stayed in, dirty, grime and dirt in the sink, round taps, shower tray and plug hole also round toilet seat. The floor was also full of hair and didn't look like it had been cleaned for ages. The curtains which were 4 different pieces, didn't fit the windows, so let light in all night. There was what looked like leaves and milk on the window cills and paint all-over the frames was also loaded with dust. The downstairs was tacky and had cracked tiles around the reception desk, which is hardly ever manned and altho there is a bell, they take ages to answer it when rang, many times from a different room we were told to WAIT!!!! There is NO dining room as advertised, it is what looks like a laundry room! When we spoke with member of staff, we were told they couldn't get it changed or change our room, we cleaned as vest we could to have a shower and left after 1 night and moved ourselves to another hotel as the previous night was gone 2am, with no help from staff members and we had nowhere to go. No refund or compensation is being refunded. Think very carefully before booking this hotel and also the area is not a pleasurable place to be.

It's morning and I've ordered the breakfast buffet with coffee and an orange juice. The food was lovely and the lounge was spotless clean I was assisted by a beautiful young lady called Renata . She made sure everyone was catered for with a big smile.

I have stayed here a few times excellent staff friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy very good value, and bars and food places close by what more could you want,plus parking is available at the back of the hotel.

No hot water for shower in one of the hottest days in U.K so far. I'm Menopausal. The manager said, 'You don't really need hot water in this temperature'. REALLY??! We paid for room and facilities and I did not expect to be patronised! Reported the issue the morning after arrival and was assured it was fixed. I asked if it was definite and was assured it was so. It wasn't. I rang and complained and was told it would be checked. Too late when Maintenance guy turned up as we had a concert to go to. I should've asked for part refund in hindsight.
