What a lovely little hostel. The reception guy John is so sweet and helpful. Just a really lovely guy. This place has all you need really. Kitchen with all the equipment you want. Even a small continental breakfast is included. The lounge is very comfortable and has plenty to keep you entertained The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, out of all the hostels I stayed at. The room was nice and airy. The hostel was clean and well decorated. No issues what do ever. Thanks for a great stag Seadragon :-)

I enjoyed my stay at Seadragons. It is in a great location, about a 20 minute walk from the train station and just up the road from the seaside. Property was clean, very secure and safe. There wasn't much of an atmosphere but I imagine that might be because of the time of year or because many of the guests were participating in the marathon. I didn't use the kitchen but it looked like it had everything someone could possibly need. Great hostel :)

I had a lovely stay here and met some nice people. The check-in and checks at 1pm/11am are better than most places offer. Having the option to cook which I didn't as I only stayed for 3 days is a real plus and breakfast provided made it good value for money. I would return again

I spent two nights here this month. I loved the positioning near the sea and the hostel has great facilities. Very friendly staff and it was easy to meet other travellers. We went along to the events recommended by the hostel: an open mic and the Artista bar which does stand-up comedy - highly recommend!

Great location, wonderful host, good dormitory, lovely shower....fab kitchen for brekkie!! Great value for a nightstop in Brighton! Joe was very welcoming, let us put our bags in room until we needed to get our train back home....On arrival, he showed us the kitchen fridge, which housed a surplus bottle of fizz from previous guests....he told us to help ourselves!! Cheers Joe! X

After getting evicted from my rented flat I’d lived in for 9yrs after Christmas 2021 I was at a loss as to where to stay in Brighton that wouldn’t exceed my budget. Seadragon Backpackers happened to be at the top of my street, so they were the first obvious choice for me whilst I recovered from the emotional turmoil my recent eviction had put me in. Their price points are spot on with regards to affordability and staying there allowed me to continue saving towards a deposit on a new flat whilst I continued my search for a reasonably priced property to rent within the Brighton & Hove area. The hostel is very well situated, with grocery stores, restaurants and the beach all within walking distance. I ended up staying there for an entire month and only moved on to another local backpackers due to them closing for their yearly hostel renovations… which is when I found out first hand that they’re for sure the best hosts and hostel in Brighton & Hove!.  I won’t mention the other hostel I stayed at but the contrast was stark and very unenjoyable!. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting reasonably priced accommodation in the city. Super comfortable beds, regularly cleaned rooms/communal areas, heavy cotton bed linen with great kitchen facilities … although the hostel is a tad tight on space structurally, they make the very most of it and they’re always very welcoming. Wishing them all the very best with their endeavours!.

Really lovely place, first time solo traveling and so glad I stayed at the Seadragon. It was cozy, safe, the managers are personable and kind and had so many cool amenities like a hair dryer, straightener and yummy breakfast. Also daily recommendations for things to do! So amazing

Went here with my mother after spontaneously deciding to stay in Brighton. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and at good standard and we could see the ocean from our window. The kitchen was well equipped and the breakfast had several options. The manager was great and helpful so we were very happy with our stay here!
