Hualien Farglory Hotel

Very nice and comfy room.

First off, the hotel is a bit far from the other parts of Hualien so its best suited for those who are just plannning to stay around the hotel or the "Ocean Park" nearby, although this is mitigated by the shuttle they offer to the train station and back. But for my purposes that was fine. The hotel is quite large and has many facilities, including both outdoor and indoor pool (outdoor pool closed during winter seasons). Views are quite nince and more than justify the cost. Advised perhaps to go in the summer when the outdoro pool is open and there are less cloudsl, though undoubtedily will be more epxennnnsive. But on a sunny day I imagine it would be hard to beat the value offered by this place I believe, especialyl if you are content to just gaze at the ocean rather than go to places like Taroko gorge.

The hotel is located on the mountain, facing Pacific sea veiw and near the Ocean Park. The decoration is grand and very classy British style , e.g. the lobby and restaurants, . The room is above the average. The facilities are average.

Great service and the space is quiet comfortable. Especially for children activity.

Parking lot and elevator is smelly. Others are ok
