The service here is truly exceptional, I've already recommended it to my friends. They've thought of everything! The private car service for transfers was a really nice touch. The morning Qigong (Baduanjin) practice is also a unique feature, perfectly blending with nature.

Facilities: The overall design of Shilin Cliff House is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing retreat in Huangshan. Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent, with trash in the room being cleared regularly. Environment: The environment is beautiful, located below the 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea' rock formation in Beihai, making it very convenient for watching the sea of clouds and sunrise in the morning. You can even enjoy the sunset from your room. Service: The butler service is exceptionally thoughtful. From early recommendations for our itinerary, arranging tickets, to private car transfers, everything was meticulously handled. After we checked in, the butler met us at 'Brush Blossoms Peak' (Mengbi Shenghua), introducing the area along the way and guiding us to the hotel. They also explained all the facilities and services. We even experienced Song-style tea ceremony. Even after checking out, the butler continued to provide follow-up services. The experience was absolutely superb. Dining: The individually plated meals were incredibly delicious, with each dish named after a line of poetry. The ingredients were fresh; it's truly amazing to enjoy such fine dining at the top of Huangshan. Six-seater business VIP car round-trip transfer from Huangshan Xinguoxian transfer point to the cable car lower station within the scenic area: They provided private car transfers. The driver's service was excellent, and we had access to a special lane for the cable car, so no queuing was necessary.

This hotel in Huangshan is absolutely fantastic! In terms of views, it's the best choice, hands down. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit; it's so peaceful and refreshing. The staff are all incredibly dedicated; a group of young people looking after just over a dozen rooms, which is a big plus.

The service was very welcoming, and the environment is excellent, with direct mountain views. It's a must-stay if you're visiting Huangshan. This cliffside guesthouse is perched on top of Huangshan, nestled deep in the mountains, among the clouds, where you can sleep with the sound of the pines. A truly unique experience.

A dreamy mountain retreat above the clouds, a healing journey far exceeding expectations. **Superb Location**: The B&B is nestled at the foot of Lion Peak, at an altitude of 1630 meters, adjacent to sunrise viewing spots like Monkey Gazing at the Sea and Qingliang Terrace. Staying here, a mere 20-minute walk grants you the magnificent, private spectacle of the Huangshan Shixin Peak sunrise. Sunsets can be enjoyed right from the hotel's observation deck. The mountain path is serene, winding through pine forests, with birdsong welcoming you and squirrels awaiting guests as they ascend the steps. The picturesque experience of a mountain journey is fully realized here. I heard Xu Xiake once visited this very spot twice, admiring the same cliff-top scenery as us. **Stunning Design**: The 400-year-old Red Temple beautifully intertwines with modern glass villas, a perfect fusion of Zen aesthetics and contemporary comfort. Situated next to ancient cliff carvings, a vast platform offers views of the sun, moon, and stars, and the whispering pines across myriad valleys. The entire hotel has nine rooms; we stayed in 'Yunshu,' which features underfloor heating and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to witness the rolling sea of clouds and pines without leaving your room, and even glimpse the 'Flying Stone' from 'Dream of the Red Chamber' in the distance. **Heartwarming Service**: The butler-style service was incredibly attentive, from pre-booking tickets and cable cars to seamless greetings and farewells throughout our stay. We felt a warm and genuine welcome and send-off. The staff were enthusiastic and thoughtful, organizing cultural activities such as tea ceremonies, singing bowl therapy, writing spring couplets, and fish lantern making. The cleanliness was impeccable, every corner spotless and flawless. The evening turndown service thoughtfully included white noise, and the wardrobe was specially stocked with down jackets and windbreakers for early morning sunrise outings. **Dining Delight**: Considering all supplies are carried up the mountain by hand, the culinary offerings were astonishing. Dinner was exquisite, like rare delicacies. Our stay coincided with the first day of the Chinese New Year, so we specially ordered the 'Mengchun Feast.' Every ingredient was fresh and sweet, especially the improved 'Yipin Pot' and the freshly cooked mandarin fish, leaving the essence and festive flavor of Anhui cuisine in our taste memory. The cheerful young server in the restaurant told us many interesting stories and traditional customs of celebrating New Year in Huizhou during our meal. In summary, this guesthouse is a 'destination' worth a special trip. As one guest put it: 'I won't come to Huangshan again for Huangshan, but I will climb Huangshan again for this hotel!'

Everything was perfect. To achieve such attention to detail at the summit of Huangshan, at 1800 meters, is truly impeccable. It's completely on par with the top-tier resorts we've stayed at around the world. Without this stay at Shilin Hotel, our pre-Chinese New Year trip to Huangshan would have been an entirely different experience.

The room was excellent, service was very attentive, there was a cute dog, and the room itself was unique, with a superb location. I particularly love both Yunjis; each has its own distinct charm. There's a big-eyed young man who works in the restaurant. His eyes are huge and he's incredibly handsome. My trip to Huangshan was absolutely worth it. I came alone and initially thought I'd feel lonely, but with the companionship of all the butlers, I felt life slow down, very relaxed and at ease. I've climbed mountains many times, but staying at Yunji felt like they were an extension of my own arms and legs – so natural, anticipating my needs in advance, and always willing to help with any requests I had. Additionally, I visited in December, and they had Jigongjian persimmons at the store. I ate 7 persimmons and asked for two more dried persimmons; they were better than any persimmon I'd ever tasted. I stayed at Songji. After watching the sunrise, I dozed off for a bit. When I woke up and opened the window, the sunlight poured in, and I suddenly had a moment of profound clarity, feeling as if time itself had become still. I also saw the Geminid meteor shower on December 14th. I saw Huangshan's first snow, and witnessed both sunrise and sunset. This trip was truly worthwhile. Yunji is expensive for a reason. I initially thought it was just about a better environment and nicer rooms, but the quality of service and attentiveness provides a peaceful kind of care. My soul felt healed. Here are my subjective feelings: During my recent stay at Yunji, I saw the big-eyed young man in the restaurant. His eyes were as clean as rime on distant mountains, yet held a subtle hint of alarm and sadness. They are the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, uniquely pure, yet not cold. They are like a musician's notes, a painter's pigments, a writer's words – a flash of inspiration for a master, a moment of profound insight, a gathering of souls aided by heaven and earth, interpreting the natural beauty of Huangshan and the cultural charm of Qingliang Villa. I saw the Milky Way from the terrace; the light from those stars traveled countless years, and in that moment, I saw them. This young man's eyes struck me like a multitude of stars, and I was unexpectedly moved, thinking, "All conditioned phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows; like dew and lightning, they should be regarded as such." Huangshan is like these eyes, piercing through my tranquility, like brewing wine with pine flowers and steeping tea with spring water. I try my best to record such beauty, to grasp the bright spots in life. I didn't take a photo of this young man, because when taking pictures, the gaze is focused on the screen, not reality. I took many photos because I was worried I'd forget the unique scenery of Huangshan. But these eyes, I think, will be hard to forget. The impact they had on me was the finishing touch to my Huangshan trip.

The hotel environment is quiet and very comfortable. We also enjoyed delicious breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. The butler helped us book tickets for attractions, cable cars, and even porters, making our trip very relaxing. We'll definitely come again next time.

I absolutely adore this place. While the Yellow Mountain scenery is undeniably breathtaking, Shilin Yanshe is where I truly want to return again and again to find peace. The hotel team consists of energetic young individuals, and there's even a beloved dog named Beibei. Their thoughtful and attentive hospitality made me feel right at home. They kept me well-fed with fruit, coffee, afternoon tea, and stews. The restaurant's food was exceptional; it made me wonder how such high-quality dishes could be prepared on Yellow Mountain, where supplies are carried up by hand. The beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful staff create a clean and stable atmosphere here. Even though the journey up the mountain was a bit challenging for me, I'm still eager to return to this place to rest, recuperate, and take good care of myself.
