J·Mountain Hotel

After spending two days at the top of Huangshan, I returned and stayed here again, and it felt even more comfortable. The hotel is very close to Yuping Cableway, with a shortcut staircase just a few minutes' walk away, allowing you to avoid the shuttle buses. It's also very near the Ciguang Pavilion hiking entrance, again with a shortcut staircase for direct hiking. This makes it perfect for guests who want to explore Huangshan in depth. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery and an artistic design. You can see the majestic Tiandu Peak and the spectacular Renzi Waterfall, and at night, you fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. The butler service was excellent – very responsive, accommodating every request, and able to arrange everything in advance. Thumbs up! The driver was very skilled, navigating the mountain roads smoothly without causing any motion sickness, and provided timely pick-ups and drop-offs at the high-speed rail station. Thumbs up! The tea from the lady at the tea room was delightful and refreshing. Thumbs up! The restaurant food was delicious, and the chef's skills were top-notch. Thumbs up! The waitstaff were also very pleasant. Thumbs up! Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean. Thumbs up! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan.

Luckily, we stayed at this hotel during Chinese New Year. A driver picked us up from the airport. It's super close to the cable car, so we were the first family to ride it up in the morning and saw the sunrise over Greeting-Pine. After getting off the cable car, the driver picked us up again and took us back to the hotel for a delicious dinner. We had an early start for hiking, and the hotel even packed us a tasty light meal to take with us. They also have great coffee, which is a rare find in Huangshan! After coming down the mountain, we could relax in the tea room and enjoy some excellent tea, then take a refreshing walk around the back of the mountain. The hotel owner has excellent taste.

This hotel is located within the Huangshan Scenic Area, right next to the lower station of the Yuping cable car. If you're driving, you'll need to park in the hotel's designated lot outside the scenic area, and a hotel vehicle will pick you up. Even though it's inside the Huangshan Scenic Area, if you're not climbing Huangshan, you don't need to buy an entrance ticket to get through the main gate when using the hotel's shuttle. If you are hiking, you can use the hotel's shuttle service for transfers to and from the cable car station, saving you from queuing for the public bus at the scenic area's transfer center. This is a significant advantage, especially during peak season. The hotel maintains high standards for both its facilities and service. All the staff we encountered were very enthusiastic. Since the occupancy rate was low during our visit, breakfast wasn't a buffet but served individually, which was pretty standard. However, the complimentary dinner was excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, literally just 100 meters from the Yuping Cableway. The room was spotlessly clean, with modern amenities, and even small details like the tissues were of premium quality. The host communicated proactively to arrange a pick-up.

We had a wonderful stay! The kids absolutely loved it, and the setting was beautiful and serene. They even have a tea room, which was incredibly relaxing for enjoying some tea after a long day of hiking.
