This hotel, built in 2025, is quite close to Shixin Peak but a bit far from Bright Summit. The hotel organizes sunrise and sunset viewing tours, but the sunrise spot at Shixin Peak seems a bit off-center – I wonder if Bright Summit would be better. If you head straight to the hotel after coming down the Yungu Temple cable car, it's not too far. The exterior looks a bit old and ordinary, but the interior decor is quite nice. The prices at the à la carte restaurant are quite high; the dinner buffet was 198 RMB per person. After comparing, I decided to go with the buffet. Neither the breakfast nor dinner buffet had a huge variety of dishes, but the dinner was relatively tastier. Since I was staying alone, I was quite concerned about room security. The safety latch on the door initially didn't work. After an engineer came to fix it, it could be locked. In the morning, someone knocked on my door, and I didn't unlock the safety latch to check. The entire safety latch just fell off completely without any force, rendering it useless as a security measure. This was quite startling and left me feeling uneasy; I've never encountered anything like this at any other hotel, especially not on a mountain. Although the room is small, I was quite satisfied with the facilities and decor for a hotel on the mountain. However, good hotel decor is only one part of the experience, and having the safety latch fall off was certainly a new experience.

The hotel is great, right next to the Mengbi Shenghua attraction. Butler Xinyu was very attentive, always answering questions and providing excellent service. Both the buffet dinner and breakfast were very plentiful. The hotel even had a dedicated guide to take us to watch the sunrise, although we didn't get to see it, which was a shame. We'll definitely come back again!

I genuinely recommend Huangshan Yunlu Beihai Hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic; you're right next to all the main attractions, so there's no need to rush out early in the morning. The rooms are clean and cozy, the bedding is comfortable, and I slept really well. The service is incredibly attentive; the staff are friendly and always willing to help. I was pleasantly surprised to find such great accommodations on the mountain. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Huangshan – it's excellent value for money!

Pros: 1. Upon check-in, I added the butler on WeChat. They promptly informed me about sunrise/sunset times and evening performances, which was very convenient. Questions were also answered quickly. 2. The bathroom's shower cap even came with a hair tie, a thoughtful touch for women. 3. The evening buffet was quite varied, and there were many diners. The service staff were gentle and polite. 4. The room had some small tea snacks. The black sesame crisps were delicious, I wished I could have had more! The packaging didn't have manufacturer info; the hotel said they were custom-made for them. 5. The multi-media hall had some books and picture books that my child loved. There were also game facilities, the environment was great, and items were new and well-maintained. 6. The towels in the room were soft and clean. 7. The peonies were beautiful and real flowers! Areas for improvement: 1. When checking in, the front desk attendant, after assisting a family with three rooms, didn't offer me any additional information. After completing my check-in, she turned around and said she was too busy and had to change shifts. I mentioned I hadn't received the WeChat for the butler service, and only then did she remember to give me the QR code to scan. 2. The hotel offers experience activities. I suggest the butler introduce them during check-in. Some guests aren't as meticulous, and might forget otherwise. 3. There was slightly limited space in the room to put things, making it hard to store my backpack. The lack of a main light source made the room too dim, straining my eyes when reading.

The hotel's facilities, environment, and ambiance are all fantastic. The family suite offers excellent value for money. The one-on-one butler service is incredibly thoughtful, and having breakfast and dinner right inside the hotel is very convenient. The hotel also has many activities, but the best part is the guided sunset and sunrise tours. At night, the 'Mengbi Shenghua' spot next to the hotel is perfect for stargazing. I highly recommend it for family trips; it's especially convenient when traveling with kids or elderly family members.
