Huangshan Scenic Area Transfer Center Tangkou Atour Hotel

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was also very convenient. It's just a short drive off the highway. Downstairs, there are plenty of fruit shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. It's also not far from the Xiaoyao Stream Transfer Center; I drove there in about 5 minutes. I was on the first bus up Huangshan in the morning, so I didn't have to queue at all.

This time, we stayed at Atour when climbing Huangshan, and this hotel completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment we entered the lobby, we could feel the high-quality environment and professional service attitude. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, and responded to our requests very promptly. Especially the young lady who helped us check in, her service was excellent, professional and thoughtful. The only thing is, the bathroom sink counter is really too low, and water splashes everywhere when washing up. Once there's standing water on the counter, it just keeps dripping. I'd also suggest adding a trash can in the shower room, otherwise, trash has to be left scattered or taken to the bedroom to be disposed of. The hotel provides a special shuttle service to Xiaoyaoxi Station, making it very convenient to then take the scenic shuttle bus. When returning, you can take the scenic shuttle bus directly to Tangkouling Station, and the hotel is right across the street. The hotel's breakfast was very rich, and it was great that the laundry room had dedicated staff to wash, dry, and fold clothes, so we didn't have to wait ourselves. Overall, the accommodation experience was fantastic, and I sincerely recommend it!

The hotel service was absolutely fantastic, even better than the Atour hotels I usually stay at. They even helped with laundry service, washing and delivering my clothes. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic; as soon as I arrived, they gave me detailed information about Mount Huangshan and itinerary suggestions, which were very helpful. The hotel also provided hiking poles, which were essential for my climbs these past two days – lightweight, sturdy, and reliable.

The hotel is right in Tangkou Town. You can call them in advance to arrange a pick-up from the transfer center, or they can organize a shared ride to Huangshan North Station, which is very convenient. The late-night snack was great; after a warm bowl of porridge, I slept soundly. The hotel also provides free hiking poles, which you can return after your hike. It's a small touch, but very useful.

The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. I was exhausted after hiking Huangshan and wanted to check in early, but my booked twin room was unavailable. They went out of their way to upgrade my room type and allowed me to check in ahead of schedule. Their service was excellent and very attentive, truly anticipating guests' needs.

This is my second stay at Atour, and it's conveniently located right at the foot of Huangshan Mountain with plenty of restaurants nearby. The overall environment is great, and the service is excellent and very thoughtful. I requested a quiet room, and they specifically arranged a room in the middle of two corridors and facing the mountain, so I slept very comfortably. They even gave me Huangshan sesame cakes! I'll definitely choose Atour again for my next trip; it's great value for money.
