The accommodation is in a lovely quiet area by a river. The garden was absolutely beautiful. The room was cozy with everything you needed and very comfortable beds. We also used a sharing space where we did yoga and relaxed. The host is a lovely lady. She gave us a lift to the yellow mountain gate, cooked lunch and dinner for us which was delicious. (I am vegetarian and she accommodated that) Highly recommend this place if you want something quiet and relaxing close to nature. We will definitely be staying there again. She also has a few very cute and friendly cats.

This stay was a truly delightful and incredibly healing encounter. The guesthouse owner was wonderfully gentle, humble, and incredibly warm and thoughtful. Not only were they attentive and considerate, but they were also well-traveled and articulate, making our conversations a real pleasure and leaving us feeling genuinely welcomed. The accommodation itself was spotless and bright, the surroundings serene and elegant with picturesque views. Every detail showed great care and aesthetic appeal. Adding to the charm were the cats and dogs in the courtyard – Aobai, Niunai, Kela, and Yuanbao – all so intelligent, adorable, gentle, and friendly. Their playful and cute presence added infinite warmth and a soothing touch to our trip. Overall, the experience was flawless. It was cozy, comfortable, and full of heartfelt warmth. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The reason we chose this hotel was to get more out in the nature. The hotel is located by the river, so we could fall asleep to the sound of it. The hotel owner is a very kind lady, who served us an endless amount of tea and she even offered to drive us to the entrance of Huangshan mountains. We ate at the Hotel each evening and the owner makes some very delicious traditional Chinese food. We also had a walk along the river besides the hotel, which was very nice. It was nice to be in an area where everything was more slow-pace. PS. The cats are the sweetest ever

This is one of the most wonderful places we have stayed in a very long time. We were made to feel so welcome, the food was fantastic and the setting was truly relaxing and beautiful. A lovely little hotel run by the most-friendly staff we've encountered on our travels. The location is at the end of a road going up the mountain, off the beaten path and the hustle and bustle of Tangkou main street. The buildings are traditional style with a charming garden around them. The staff will cook supper for a reasonable price and local dishes can be requested.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was idyllic surrounded by mountains and streams, the food was delicious and the staff super nice and welcoming.

Nice local hotel located at the end of the road surrounded by nature. The owner is very helpful. The whole scenery is beautiful and carefully arranged. At night you can listen to the sound of the creek passing by. Behind the hotel starts a foot path uphill through tea plantation worth a walk.

This was a delightful find. It was tucked away in the mountains, drive passed monkeys, we could hear the running water of the stream, the children enjoyed wading in the water and had a quick dip. You can walk into the hills along the stream straight from the hotel. The host was very friendly and helpful. She picked us up and dropped us off where we wanted to go. The rooms were great. They were clean and had every thing you could want. The restaurant food was delicious, made by local cons from the village and cooked to meet our dietary needs - we are vegetarian. The swimming pool was in use. So do ask before you arrive.

Wonderful place near Huangshan Mountain in the middle of nature, literally at the end of the road. A little gem with the most welcoming host who is always ready to assist you, drive you into town or join you on an excursion if she has the time. You can swim in the river next to the hotel to refresh and visit the monkeys in the park just a bit down the road. You can also walk upstream along the river for a nice hike. A wonderful place to stay if you prefer to be surrounded by nature in an extraordinary environment close to Huangshan Mountain.

The location is just wonderful, in a small village next to the river. Please make the walk following the river - you won’t regret. We really relaxed here after climbing the Huangshan and visiting Shanghai. Recommended.

It's a cozy and beautiful hotel nested in the greenery of huangshan mountains away from noisy Tangkou town. Service staff and specially the owner is an amazing person. She made sure that our stay was comfortable even though the weather wasn't nice. Also being a foreigner without a clue of local language it's a blessing to have such a host. A highly recommended place for foreigners and family travellers. Do not miss the local food,, made as per your choice - vegetarian in our case and hiking tour arranged in the nearby mountains.

This was an amazing stay in the small town of Fuxi. The owner personally came and picked us up and was very friendly throughout our stay! She has beautiful and friendly dogs and cats. The food was home-made style and delicious. The locally made infused alcohol was also really awesome. We went for a walk around the tea plantations and slept with the sound of the nearby stream. Very relaxing place, will definitely come back!

A super cute ‘hidden’ hotel - also magical in rain!! The owner was so sweet, she took us on a private tour to a village nearby as the yellow mountain was closed true to a typhoon. Food was excellent!!

We came here from Europe and loved the peaceful nature just a few minutes' drive from the entrance to Huangshan Park. The host was excellent and provided transportation to and from the accommodation when needed. We were able to swim in the nearby river and walk along the path that led from the accommodation to the mountain. We also tasted the delicious dishes prepared by the chef. Both accommodation and meals are more expensive than the surrounding hotels, but for us, it was worth the money. We came here from Europe and loved the peace and nature at just a few minutes' drive from the entrance to Huangshan Park.
