Huangshan Mengxi Bieyuan Forest Resort Hotel

This trip to Huizhou was so healing! All I could see were golden fields of rapeseed flowers. I'd asked the butler beforehand if we could barbecue, and my little grill came in handy. The staff here are all very polite, and the overall experience was really comfortable. Highly recommended!

The service was incredibly warm, and the environment was beautiful, complete with a Western restaurant. Being right next to Xixi South Ancient Town was a delightful surprise! They offered exquisite afternoon tea and delicious late-night dessert soup. Breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied! The kids absolutely loved it, and our stay was fantastic!!!

Located near Xixi, the hotel boasts an exceptionally tranquil environment. Nearby attractions are all within easy reach, making it very convenient. The hotel offers a delightful afternoon tea, featuring a selection of four delicate pastries, each one absolutely delicious 😋. For breakfast, there's a daily-changing spread of nine different items served with a main dish, and every single bite is superb 😋. Rooms come with open-air balconies, providing excellent privacy. All in all, it's truly wonderful.

From the moment you step into the hotel, the outdoor lounge area with its comfortable tables and chairs, and a large screen playing popular music at just the right volume, instantly makes any chosen spot a scenic delight. The hotel's interior design was even more refined. The lounge area featured two impressive, large slab tea tables, and both the tea itself and the accompanying teaware were of exceptional quality. Inside the room, I was greeted with fresh fruit on the table and complimentary afternoon tea. In the evening, finding two cups of mung bean porridge waiting was an incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming touch, making me feel utterly at home and deeply touched. Breakfast the next morning, presented in a delightful 'nine-grid' style, truly showed immense thoughtfulness. The fragrant bamboo shoot noodles and the warm, smiling faces of the staff I encountered around every corner are still wonderful memories I cherish!

It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service! They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks. Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!

We were welcomed with fresh fruit, treated to an exquisite afternoon tea, and even had a thoughtful late-night congee prepared for us. The views from our window were stunning, and we could access the water just by crossing the road. The staff were incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and attentive, and the owner even surprised us with an extra breakfast (beyond the two included). Any requests we had were met with an instant response. Overall, the experience was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Xixinan!
