WoodSpring Suites Hudson Port Richey

This hotel is subpar. all thought it is new it lacks on certain amenities. All so if you check out a day early, they don't refund your money for the day you don't stay. so beware that if you need to leave because of uncercomstantial issues. They don't refund your money. Something to think about before you book to stay. :(

I uisually dont leave detailed review...honestly, who cares, right? BUT, We stayed at WoodSpring Suites Hudson while our house was rebuilt due to the flooding from storms in hudson for 3-4 weeks after the damage ( so long its hard to remember). It was like a HOME away from out home. Pet-friendly!!!!!!!! AND..the BEST part...EVERYTHING here is BRAND NEW!!!! There's hot plates built into the counter & a full kitchen sink WITH A CUTTING BOARD EVEN. NO "EATING out EVERY night" is required!! Make you own comfort foods without leaving the room. Nishant the manager is GREAT, and highly skilled, obviously, and I say this becuase ALL of his people are professional and go out of there way to get to know you & help however they can!! There's no snarky, lazy, unctraing staff here at all. Like CHick-Fli-a, its all good!! The overnight manager, Angel and Lori (she works during day too) were extremely good at securing the place and keeping it clean at night. We felt safe knowing this staff of Lori, Ashlyn, Kayden would be ther at the desk or a text message away. Richard the maint supervisor had EVERYTHING exactly right, we had ZERO issues here, which is RARE these days!! Dayami & Carlos, in charge of building & room presentation ALWAYS had it SPOTLESS and smelling good. ANd friendly!! always a smiling good morning when you saw them working their tails off. Ive stayed at WAY fancier & WAY WAY MORE expensive longterm places that were like coaxing an old beat-up car to get you where you want, you gotta complain & moan to get what you want... This was like driving a new car off the lot and everyone making sure ALL goes how you want it. I cannot thank these people enough & the COMPANY, Choice Hotels for putting in the EXTRA effort for such an amazing experience of "this can be my home for weeks ata time" If i could goive 6 stars, i would. we live close & we're always have friends & family stay here now, and i'd be proud to call any of these people personal friends from now on.
