Chiba Mountain Top Private Hot Spring Resort Manor

The service was good. There aren't many public facilities, and the water park was closed. **Facilities:** Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's a set meal per person delivered to the room or eaten in the lobby. **Environment:** There are lots of mosquitoes. Geckos are supposedly a fixture in every room, and you can hear them chirping. There were also spiders and a lot of flying ants. A stray cat startled me while I was soaking in the hot spring, haha. The park tickets they provide are just for entry; they don't include rides or attractions, so you have to pay extra for those. **Facilities:** There's nowhere to swim; the water park was closed (and frankly, didn't look like much even if it were open). There's only one playground that's not very exciting, maybe suitable for kids around 8 years old. They give you eggs when you check out, which is... something. The area around the hotel is a bit dull. If you're driving, heading to the beach nearby is nice, and coming back to stay one night for the hot springs is okay. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. There were quite a few flying ants at night, but the hot spring was good and unlimited.

Cleanliness: The room was spotless and located on a hilltop, close to nature. Service: The butler service was excellent, very responsive, and offered proactive suggestions. The hot pot was delicious, and the farm activities like egg collecting were a lot of fun. The complimentary amusement park access kept the kids entertained. We went during the off-peak season, so there weren't many people, which made for a very satisfying experience.

The service was great, and everything was clean. The standalone villa was perfect for a large family. The owner even has a vegetable garden where you can pick your own fresh greens, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely come back again!

The real hot springs with unlimited access were amazing! The room was clean and tidy. A major plus was the food, featuring homegrown vegetables and free-range chicken, which could even be enjoyed as a hotpot. The staff were warm, attentive, and provided excellent service.
