Stayed for 4 nights. Had room with sea view which was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had breakfast at the hotel, which was very good, but not dinner. Dinner menu tries to be something it's not and does not have a balanced selection. Had dinner each evening in the Ancient Mariner, which we could not fault. Good service, good selection and generous portions. If staying and you are given a room in the block built on, be aware there is no lift and access is by a narrow staircase after going through the bar. Sound proofing in the rooms is very poor. You can hear peoples conversations in rooms around you and the noise of their flushing toilet and running water.

We visited Le Strange over the Easter weekend and left wishing we’d listened to the people who we know who had been before and wouldn’t return. Two courses for £15.50 from a soup, three main courses and some desserts. While the soup was ‘ok’ the mains were poor. Beef was 3 thin slices, 3 roast potatoes and a small selection of vegetables. We were waiting for additional vegetables and Yorkshire puddings but they didn’t appear. Desserts were average at best. I’m really surprised to read some of the reviews on here as the restaurant was virtually empty apart from us, which speaks volumes. Save your money, go to Macdonalds.

Thank you to all the staff at Le Strange Hotel, yet again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and leave with contemplation of our next visit. From the warm welcome to the excellent restaurant via a good night’s sleep we love it here. This is how to run a hotel, lots of safe parking, excellent wine list and simply stunning food- consistently! So handy for the beach and a stroll to Hunstanton. Sea view superior double room which had a super king bed with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the sea view from the sitting area. Oceans of hot water and soft towels. My fiancée who is a vegetarian found the menu reflected her needs and was thoughtfully created so often the vegetarian ‘option’ is an after-thought, not here! Two nights B and B with two course diner included is a great combination and excellent value, we really looked forward to our evening meal knowing the quality and attention to detail never fails to impress.

We have had a delicious Sunday lunch here today. The food was excellent. The cod was so fresh and everything was cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire Puds that came with the roast were enormous. Two of us have a lactose intolerance and we were very well accommodated; which was much appreciated. A really friendly team working there and a cracking view. Thank you!

Excellent location for a sea view stay, a short walk to the beach. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and there are many sitting areas, many with sea views. The room was spacious and well equipped. Superb breakfast. Recommend highly.

We have stayed at Le Strange a number of times both in the Hotel and self catering accommodation,both of which are of a good standard. We recently stayed for a week in one of the Garden Lodges and had a lovely relaxing break by the sea. The weather was kind too so we had a great stay all round ! As always the staff were great too both in the Mariners (who kindly delivered meals to our Lodge) and on Reception who were happy to provide assistance. We are already booked for another stay later in the year.

We went on a girls weekend staying in a Garden Lodge and have been going there for the last 2 years and the year before Covid hit too. The position of the Le Strange and Lodges are just perfect and would highly recommend it. Just a perfect place to unwind and have fun. The staff, especially Karen from the Ancient Mariner, could have been more accommodating. We have booked again for January 2025.

We had an Anniversary weekend away on a January deal. Bed breakfast and evening meal for two nights. Very pleased with our clean standard room, a complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Thankyou 😊 The food was presented of high standard. Most of the staff were friendly. Lovely open fire in the communal lounge Great location on the seafront. Walk to town takes around half hour. We love le strange hotel and have been returning for many years now. Will be back again sometime in the near future.

We have had a wonderful 2 days stay here. The staff were wonderfully helpfully, welcoming and friendly. The food delicious with cheerful staff serving us promptly. The Location is exceptional overlooking the sea with the Hotel right on the edge of the beach. the views especially of the sunsets were outstanding too. All in all it was the best break we could have asked for and hope to back for longer soon. Thank you to all at Le Strange for giving us such a great break...
