The Regina is a basic all inclusive hotel right in the centre of Hurghada. Easy walking distance to the Marina and bars, restaurants etc are right outside the front door. Majority of staff are friendly, tips get you better service (as in most places in Egypt).
Samir who cleaned our bungalow was absolutely fantastic, every day he left something else in our room that helped us enjoy our stay. From a kettle (not typical to get in Egypt all inclusive) to hotel embroidered slippers and a wonderful smile every single day, I hope the management cherish him as he is simply brilliant.
The bungalow was spacious enough but the shower was tiny, beds comfy, plenty of clean towels too.
The food is basic and not to the standard I’ve had in other hotels in Hurghada but there was always something to have. The beer is poured in to small glasses from a bottle and all the spirits are local equivalents. If like me you need coffee early morning (before 7) then you’ll have to pay for it. They have a machine in a little cafe area and at the pool/beach bars but machine coffee is not available whilst breakfast is being served. Instead it’s provided in a huge urn and not very palatable.
If you arrive before 3pm you’re not entitled to have lunch or dinner after 12 o’clock check out on your last day…they cut your band off when you check out. If you check in after 3pm then you can get a voucher from reception which allows you to have lunch. I’ve never had this at any other hotel in Egypt (this was my 18th visit) and adds to the basic feel of the hotel.
If you’re looking for a cheap hotel to enjoy the ever present sunshine then the Regina could be for you.

It was okay, but it wasn’t warm enough in winter hope next time they would be able warm up the Ocean during winter time.

The facilities are very shabby, the lighting in the room is poor, the attitude of the service staff is also very bad, the whole environment makes people feel very unsafe, the pictures and texts are seriously inconsistent, it is not recommended to stay! ! !

Cost-effective choice. Relatively close to the city. The food was gross and the cheese was vegetable oil and inferior cheese. The beach is beautiful, but there are too many salespeople. Not bad considering the price

Except for a male waiter at the front desk who has a bad attitude, everyone else is very satisfied. We ordered lunch to be included on the day of departure, but the front desk said no, which is annoying.

The hotel has a swimming pool and beach, and there are many facilities, but the only shortcoming is that it is very old. It's the same, but it's so common in Egypt!

If you take your kids to play, the hotel is in the downtown area. It's very convenient to go out and find something to eat. The swimming pool is very big, the children are having fun, and I will choose this hotel next time I have the opportunity!

The people were friendly, food was very good, we arrived at 5 pm and we directly took the rooms from the reception they were so friendly and helpfull and took two rooms 632 and 631 the room were so good it were garden view and the houskeeping were everyday cleaning the rooms and changing the towels the beach also was so good with much activities and entertainment and also the night shows were so good we had much fun here and we hope we can come vack soon thanks for everyone here for that great vacation✈️✈️❤️✈️❤️❤️❤️❤️
