Bjarnabúð

We stayed here for 3 nights during our travels around Iceland, mostly due to Whale watching for 2 consecutive days. Perfect for that we needed it for, less than a 5 min walk to the meeting points for the Whale watching. Close to shops and restaurants too. Views are brilliant (stayed in sea view apartment). Love the home feels, we were able to make our own breakfast and evening dinner one night and able to do some clothes washing which was ideal (washing powder provided). Smart TV so able to put on films. If you are needing to stay somewhere due to Whale watching and wanting to be close I would recommend. -1 star due to blinds not being very black out, we are in summer so 24 hours day light. You will also hear every footstep from upstairs guests and the road.

Great apartment, great location right on the main street in downtown Husavik. Easy walk to Whale museum and restaurants. Great view of harbor from apartment. Apartment was roomy and had a full and well appointed kitchen along with a washer/dryer. Parking just off street right next to apartment. Host was quick to respond to questions.

We booked the Top Floor two bedroom apartment several months in advance for two nights - a midway stop of our Ring Road tour. Great place to re-set and catch up on clothes washing (machine and dryer). Comfortable and well furnished open plan with beds for four. Well equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. Sitting Room with large TV (including sports channels) and Dining area. Two bedrooms - double and twin. Shower/utility room. Fantastic central location overlooking harbour and parking space to side. Everything we needed four a family of four with two teenagers.

We rent this modern apartment in a beautiful house. It was very clean and comfortable. The central location is very convenient with an easy parking. Shops and whale tours are within walking distance. The house is placed between the main street and the harbour, however it is not noisy.
