Huskisson Beach Motel

Great stay as always. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. The restaurant down stairs has terrific food and excellent staff. Thoroughly recommend.

For the price I expected a lot more what’s point of a kitchen with no saucepans or anyway of using the stove not even a toaster extremely noisy music from pub down road and no sleep from banging doors and May as well been on racetrack hot water takes 10 mins to get hot only good thing going for it is location

Functional clean hotel in the heart of Husky. Nothing flash but my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Room had a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, aircon, table, bar fridge and kettle. Wifi was decent. There was a TV that I never turned on. The automated out of office hours check-in system was a bit difficult as my booking could not be retrieved by name or email address (only booking number worked - last thing I tried). When in the room I had to have the front blinds closed for privacy. If I was on a personal trip, I'd book an AirBnB, but this was a work trip and work doesn't allow us to book AirBnB. I would stay here again on my next work trip.

Really disappointed with the customer service I received. Had to book via the website and when I realised I made an error of 1 day for the check out date, I rang immediately. It was minutes after I had booked. I phoned to amend the check out date (check in wasn't for another 16 days) I was informed that their policy does not allow me to change it and not pay for the extra night. I agree with the reviews below, their terrible policy is not clear on the website or even at booking and only comes up on the email after booking. The frustrating thing is that I had read the reviews below and should have taken more notice. Beware - if you book here you will be paying no matter what!

I booked through their website one night stay for a wedding, we unfortunately were unable to attend due to a family emergency. The customer service received was appalling, showed no empathy and slammed their ‘policy’ no refunds. We have them a few weeks notice, our only option was to change the dates, as we are unable to do this via phone, only by email weeks of emailing finding a similar date and price was difficult. Unfortunately I had not replied back to confirm new dates, I attempted to call and simply got hung up on and then they refused the answer the phone. Simply hanging up on my Phone call. Would not recommend this place if you have any exceptional circumstances, they demonstrate no empathy or care. They just throw policies and procedures.

Room was extremely underwhelming. The bed was really uncomfortable and could feel every movement made when my parter rolled over in bed. Room was very small not quite superior as mentioned in the title. Felt more like a formula 1. Extremely noisy when people were coming and going. Rooms where clean. Overall I was disappointed given we paid $320 per night.

This is the second time we’ve been to the Huskisson Carnival, and it always proves to be a great night out. The tickets which provide unlimited rides are $45 each, but we’ll worth the price. Our two teenage granddaughters (10 & 15) smashed the rides all night, having at least one ride on everything, and at least 20 rides all up - so that’s about $2 a ride. You can purchase tickets as well, but obviously the unlimited passes (band around wrist) are much better value. The carnival Is busy, loud (carnival music, rides, and side alley game spruikers) but exactly what you’d expect. There is a fenced seating area near the front, near the food trailers, which is quieter, and there is a decent selection of carnival foods to choose from - just remember to bring your credit card or load up your wallet, as the food is relatively expensive. Pluto pup/Dagwood Dogs, chicken skewers, kransky sausages are between $7-$10 each, beef roll $10, coffees/hot chocolate/tea $5, etc. There is one water ride, so if you don’t want to walk around wet, do that one early so you dry off before it gets cold. A really good buzz too, positive energy unlike the Sydney Easter Show, where packs of youth and some older groups go looking for trouble.

Really disappointed with the response I have got from these guys! Booked a room for early November for a weekend, however not able to make it. Emailed to cancel giving them 25 days notice only to be informed they are taking $250 ( first night) as a cancellation fee!!!! This isn't clear on the website or even at booking and only comes up on the email after booking. Its a super busy weekend in Huskisson that weekend and they will have no troubles filling being rebooked. But most importantly they haven't clearly displayed the " cancellation fee" I have asked them to cancel my booking in MULTIPLE emails and they just keep emailing me back with the cancelation policy and stating " you need to confirm this cancellation by the 31st of October. So not only are they trying to keep half of the payment but refusing to cancel the booking at all!!

Nice clean country style motel with good service and generous 10 percent discounts at adjoining restaurant. Good size meals..pub grub style food...good liquor choices. Great location easy walking distance into main street and waterfront
