Huzhou Marriott Hotel Nanxun

We booked a two-night stay specifically because the new Marriott in Nanxun just opened, and we wanted to check out the Nanxun Night Banquet as well. The guest room was impeccably clean, spacious, and featured electric curtains. The service was truly exceptional and attentive. The day before our arrival, the hotel butler called to check in and brief us on important details. Over the three days, they regularly checked in via WeChat to see if we needed any assistance. Such thoughtful service! A special shout-out to Queena, Vicky, and Denise, and thank you to all the Marriott staff across every department.

Very satisfied with the family suite. The kids had their own separate room, and the decor and amenities showed a lot of thoughtful care.

As the holiday season winds down, it's less crowded. The interior environment of the hotel is quite good. I was pleased that I could enjoy drinks at the executive lounge, and the evening buffet, though small, was very nice and refined. The service was attentive, and I'll definitely come back when I have the chance.

The hotel's unique shape was a big hit with the kids. Check-in was on a higher floor, so the view was pretty decent. The room was clean, and most importantly, it was very quiet – the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was also good and plentiful.

The room was quite good and spacious. The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station, but a bit far from the city center and attractions, so it might not be ideal for families with children. The lobby bar is also luxuriously decorated, but unfortunately, there were a lot of food crumbs and cigarette butts on the carpet 😂

The hotel is newly opened, but there was no strange smell. The service was excellent. Even with the National Day crowds, the cleanliness was still very good, showcasing the quality expected from a brand-name hotel. The night view from the hotel is fantastic. The mall next door isn't open yet, so there's not much to explore around. For dining, you'd have to drive out. We opted for the hotel's buffet dinner, which was also quite good.

To visit Nanxun Ancient Town and preferring a quiet stay, this new hotel was chosen. Its surroundings are mostly under construction. Taxis to various places are convenient and there's no traffic. A note of caution: if your room is on the high-speed rail side, you'll hear the train noise almost continuously until about midnight to 6 AM, when the trains stop and it's truly quiet. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend avoiding this side and asking hotel staff to switch you to the other side, which should resolve the issue. The room and bed are very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. We booked an executive room and tried the Marriott lounge. I can only say it was extremely, extremely, extremely crowded. If you prefer quiet and fewer people, you need to consider this carefully. Overall, it felt like a very average Marriott hotel. The gym and pool are good, so you can choose according to your needs. However, in this area, there aren't many other choices anyway.

It was a very last-minute trip, and the hotel was fully booked. It rained continuously, so I didn't take many photos. It was a whirlwind visit. We had the buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Interestingly, I noticed a lot of people at the hotel were ordering takeout.

The hotel is relatively new, and both the facilities and service are good. The only downside is that the surroundings are a bit desolate, and it takes a 20-minute drive to get to Nanxun Ancient Town.
