Wonderful and special family hotel. Spectacular pool and lounge area directly on the Mediterranean. Nice small town with plenty of dining options.

We were looking for somewhere to celebrate New Year's Eve. Somewhere that accepted dogs (we have two) that would be in a great place for hiking. The perfect spot for the Presqu'île de Giens and a boat trip to Porquerolles. Lovely comfortable appartment in a garden full of Eucalyptus trees, overlooking the sea. Happy memories!

old-fashioned hotel with a splendid view providing you are lucky to have a sea view because the rooms are irrelevant, heterogeneous furniture from the 70th’s no air conditioning not even a fridge or a mini bar the yellow bathroom with an ageless bathtub and a shower flex that doesn't get hanged anywhere high up. But sea view rooms can be very noisy too when a party takes place till morning at a foundation below. At 3am I had to request the reception to call the police to stop the nuisance. The location is idyllic but frankly this hotel needs to be refurbished to the level of expectations for a price above 200 euros. To add on the personnel is unfriendly customers are invisible to all.

An unfriendly welcome and a very dated and shabby room did not make for a great start to our trip but we popped to the shop across the road, bought wine and sat on our balcony and just enjoyed the amazing view. We ate in the restaurant on the 2nd night and the food was superb(Oct 19) and the service was to match. We left baffled by how one thing can be so good and another so poor. This hotel has huge potential, such a shame.

rooms clean but old fashioned not up to modern standards. strong points are the location with a lovely view on the Mediterranean, a nice garden and swimming pool along the seaside. Can be rather crowded with visitores in the high season. Food moderate.

Nous étions mon mari et moi invités par ma soeur avec des amis pour fêter son anniversaire de 60 ans. A l'arrivée personnel aimable, installation dans notre chambre vue mer superbe mais sans climatisation (un ventilateur par contre). Chambre à l'ancienne un peu fatiguée, salle de bains nécessitant aussi des travaux mais tout cela ne justifie pas la note d"horrible" car avec un certain charme ! Nous sommes descendus nous baigner dès notre arrivée soit vers 18 heures. Piscine superbe, plage de béton , un plongeoir et deux accès possibles à l'eau : par une échelle ou par le fond de la plage. Nous nous baignons, un monsieur plonge de la plage en béton juste à coté de l'échelle, mon mari fait de même 5 minutes après ...et se tape violemment la tête contre un rocher que l'on voyait très mal vu l'heure (mer "noire" ). Hôpital, 8 points de suture.....Mais surtout une chance incroyable de ne pas avoir perdu connaissance et donc risque de noyade, de ne pas s'être fracturé le cou et donc risque de tétraplégie ... En rentrant le soir nous croisons le petit fils des propriétaires à qui nous faisons remarquer qu'il n'y a pas de panneau avec interdiction de plonger à cet endroit et que c'est très dangereux .... Aucun mot de compassion de sa part juste "il y a une interdiction de plonger, à vous de faire attention" ...... En effet il y a bien sur la porte d'entrée de la piscine soit plus de 50 mètres de l'endroit dangereux, plusieurs pages punaisées, sur une d'entre elle il y a écrit en tout petit au milieu d'autres informations (ne pas manger, etc ...) l'interdiction de plonger. Par contre l'interdiction de fumer elle est en grand et se voit très bien !!!!!!! J'écris cet avis pour avertir les prochains hôtes de l'Hotel Provençal de faire très attention et de NE PAS PLONGER à coté de l'échelle !!!!!!!! Vu les réflexions du petit fils je ne suis vraiment pas certaine qu'un panneau VISIBLE à l'endroit dangereux sera apposé ........ Pour le reste : petit déjeuner varié et délicieux, hotel dans son jus 1950.

Un hôtel de qualité dans un site exceptionnel avec une vue imprenable. La restauration est de qualité. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes mais la situation de l’hôtel fait passer cette faiblesse La piscine et l’espace plage sont agréables
