Very old fashioned simple hotel in the centre of Icod. No permanent staff, phone number on front door of pedestrianised street. Simple bedroom over looking street, with two single beds pushed together to appear as a double. No air-conditioning, no safe, very posh shower cubicle in small bathroom. Cool courtyard with 24hour self service coffee, tea and wine. Breakfast room attached to courtyard with simple buffet and eggs cooked to order. The free car park is underground several hundred metres down the hill from the hotel. But it would be possible to drop luggage off at the end of the street outside Beneton.

This hotel has a great deal to recommend it. It's in a delightful old building that has been lovingly looked after, with shining woodwork everywhere and generously proportioned bedrooms (as well as extensive public rooms). However, it would be wrong to suggest that it's all old-fashioned: the TV was hi-spec and the wifi functioned very well. The breakfast too was excellent, with great choice. All in all, it probably the best of the four places we stayed in during a recent visit to Tenerife. Highly recommended.

I wanted a typical hotel and I was not disappointed, you are in a Canarian house, we had a very large room with high wooden ceilings, beautiful decoration, the bathroom was very large, very clean with taps like in the old days, breakfast taken in a very cozy little room right next to the patio was simply delicious

A hotel run by a mother and her daughter who are adorable. A great welcome with lots of explanations about the city and where to eat in the restaurant. In short, I highly recommend the establishment is in an old 18th century building with a crazy patio. Breakfast served at the table at will.

Very nice hotel, period decorated. Clean, the reception does not work 24 hours but they contact the guest to indicate arrival time. Very nice rooms, in a central location in the city but with easy parking. Silent as it overlooks a ravine with great vegetation. A lot of tranquility and relaxation in a very beautiful and well-kept place that seems to be in another era. Good service at the reception.

Behind an entrance and a facade that doesn't look like much, hides a very quiet, charming "guest house" style hotel mixing works of art and old furniture. The upstairs rooms have a terrace with a view of the mountain, where you can relax. An atmosphere like at home. Very good bedding and very pleasant breakfast. Excellent location in the immediate vicinity of the old Icod de los vinos. The plus: small interior patio with lots of vegetation providing well-being and tranquility. The minus: hotel not suitable for people with disabilities. No air conditioning.
