Best hotel, the food was delicious and everything was clean. The staff were service minded and available. The location is a bit far from the airport but it's worth it when you end up in such a hotel. We love this hotel.

Family of four, we spent a week in Almyra hotel and enjoyed every day. Hotel staff, surroundings and services were really good. Long beach was fabulous with clear waters. Other kids pool, with slides, which was on the other side of area, was really nice too (why it is not shown on map?) Something to improve. Breakfast and lunchtime were too many times crowded with almost no tables available or hard to find a table for family. Overall I would warmly recommend Almyra for family who love sea and sun and good food. Solid four stars!

This was our first visit to this resort and I must say we were very satisfied. - Excellent service and staff - clean rooms - regular cleaning - good cuisine - beautiful beach with bar - swimming pool (admittedly a bit cold ; ) )

We arrived here in the third week of September as a family of three. We were given a spacious family room with a large double bed and a sofa bed that could comfortably accommodate two people. Overall, this room was modern and cozy. The bathroom was also modern and nice, reasonably well-equipped. However, I noticed some black mold in the shower corner, but it wasn't a major issue. They didn't replenish the water bottle or shampoos for us during our stay. The hotel is quite large but never felt overcrowded. It has a welcoming and modern appearance. The hotel's clientele consisted mainly of Western European guests (France, Germany, the UK), as well as guests from Central Europe (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Austria), and Scandinavia (I couldn't distinguish the specific countries). You can swim in the pool, which is near the hotel reception, or in the sea, which is part of the hotel complex and therefore completely free. There are bars near the pool and the sea where you can grab refreshments. We didn't use the pool because we wanted to be by the sea as much as possible, so I can't provide many details about it. Beach and sea: The beach is not sandy but consists of small and larger pebbles. There could have been more sun loungers because if you didn't find one in the morning, it was probably challenging to find one later. The sea here is very beautiful and, even in the second half of September, relatively warm. It's also very clean — you can see your feet, and small fish swim around you. You can change beach towels only once every three days, which I experienced for the first time on a vacation, but it was manageable. There were no animations at all. Only once there was a "Cretan evening" where they played traditional music, and locals performed traditional dances. Food and drinks: The food was very good. The selection wasn't extraordinary, but you could find something tasty every day. Everything tasted great. Besides water and freshly squeezed juice at breakfast, the drinks were from powder and overly sweet and colored. You could dilute them with water, but a higher-quality option would have been better. The alcohol was locally made as part of the all-inclusive package. Paid cocktails were also made from these ingredients. A young lady bartender made excellent paid cocktails, but a young male bartender didn't make them as well, and one was even made incorrectly, which was disappointing for a paid cocktail. After that, I only went to the young lady bartender. A downside is that about two days a week, there's a very strong wind that whistles and makes it challenging to walk against. It also throws the pebbles at you on the beach occasionally, but there's probably nothing to be done about that. The hotel is in a relatively quiet and remote area, so it's more suitable for families with children and seniors or generally speaking people looking for relax. It's also not very convenient for excursions because it's far from major tourist dest

Beach bar was excellent… welcoming and friendly staff. They all go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Manager Edouardos Aivazian was the best. He is a great mentor/manager to his staff.. amazing cocktails the best I have ever had to any other resorts . I truly felt like a guest and not just a regular customer so hats of to you And your team. Restaurant manager Nikos was welcoming, friendly host and always with a smile. want to congratulate you and your team for consistently delivering top-notch services over and over again everyday. I would have liked more evening/entertainment programs as it was a little boring.. More activities would be good. I found that they were More focused on the French visitors more than the rest of the visitors staying at the resort.

Me and my friend went on vacation to the Almyra hotel, with which we were extremely satisfied. From the beginning we were taken care of 😊. From the reception a pleasant gentleman drove us with our suitcases to our apartment through beautiful streets lined with flowers and olive trees. The beach, pool, bars, reception and restaurants are close to the apartments. Our apartment was small, the bathroom ordinary, but we didn't miss anything. It was cleaned every day and everything worked including air conditioning, we didn't need more in the room 👌🏼. What we appreciated the most was the beautifully clean sea and the wide selection of very good food - ήταν εξαιρετικό! And the best of all is the staff, one kind and hospitable person next to another. we recommend this hotel! thanks Nicolas, Dimitris, Emanuela, Edvard, George and other nice people. You are great. ευχαριστώ. Αντιο σας 🙋🏼‍♀️. Michaela&Petra

Really enjoyed our stay! We were in a Family Apartment which was lovely and spacious (we looked at the Family Bungalow Room as well which was also good but smaller and hotter - go for the Apartment!). The food choice was fantastic - versatile and plentiful. They did a theme every evening (Fish, Greek, Italian, Mediterranean, etc.) The drinks: we were All Inclusive and the selection of cocktails was quite limited so we mostly had Bay Breeze the whole time. Shame that there was no Pina Colada! The pool had a common problem with the reserved sunbeds (despite lots of printed notices around that the towels would be removed if unused). The warning seemed to be collectively ignored: I found that if I wanted a place by the pool I had to put my towel at 8am. Evening entertainment was once a week (could have been more frequent). However both bars (by the pool and on the beach) are open until 1am so the atmosphere around was pleasant and relaxing. The staff was brilliant. All in all, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel.

We visited the hotel for a week with all inclusive. Overall we enjoyed our visit and for the most part it was as expected from a hotel with that standard. A few things to keep in mind is that they change the meals in the middle of a buffet. So if you’re there early the food is ok, but if you arrive at a later point of the opening hours the food can be quite bad. At least compared to other hotels with similar standards. The hotel staff was really nice in general and seemed genuinely interested in giving you a good time. Unfortunately one lady in the reception was directly rude. Stopping you mid sentence when explaining a problem, not listening and seemingly quite angry when asked something she didn’t want. In total the hotel is good for families who like activities and want to relax at a beautiful hotel.
