The hotel is run down and barely clean. We found little blood stains in the sheets.. some sort of bug!!! I asked at the reception and the young man that was working was nice but of no help. My children and I left a night before we had scheduled. The price is high for the poor quality. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

This hotel is a bit disappointing to be honest. Worn down, a bit dirty everywhere and furniture litterally falling apart. It’s located outside the city centre and far away from restaurants, shops etc. The restaurant on site is ok for basic needs, but very ordinary. The breakfast buffet is dull with terrible bread and overripe fruit. Eggs are good though. The pool seriously needs a repainting. On the bright side: rooms are very spacious.

We really like this hotel. We stayed in Hilton in Chile but we like this hotel better than Hilton in Chile. The towel is soft and our room has a cute balcony that can overlook the court yard and a little chapel. The bathroom has his and her. The hotel is very Argentinan. The hotel has a butterfly house and its own small zoo with caimans, pythons and a alligator. The daily breakfast is free and it was very very good. The breakfast offers very tasty pastry, juice, yogurt drink, coffee, tea, varios fruit, toast and eggs. We had dinner every night at the hotel while we were there. Their steak is so delicious. Their restaurant has a great chief. The location is 15 mins away from the igazu fall by car. The staff was very helpful. They sent us the link to purchase the igazu fall tickets before we arrived. It saved us a lot of time and we were able to be in the first group to do the boat ride at the fall. They were also very helpful to answer our questions before we arrived. My husband loves this hotel so much and keeps telling me that I booked the best hotel in the area. If you are calling the taxi via the hotel, make sure that you checked the price with the hotel. The hotel does not handle the transcation between us and the taxi driver but they have a list of the price that they agreed with the taxi driver. Our taxi driver was trying to jack up the price . It is good that the staff showed us the price before we got on the taxi. So we were very firm with the taxi driver on the listing price. Overall, it is a great experience except the airport drop off service at the check out. We will definitely choose to stay here again if we go back. It is a very Argentinan hotel and we love it very much.

I cannot tell you how much I loved this hotel. We had a huge room with a king size bed and a brick ceiling. The picture over our bed matched the decorative pillows and runner on the bed, matched the wall mural in the bathroom and the bath mat. Gorgeous local woodwork throughout. Green Tea shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and liquid soap provided. Very comfortable…..slept like a baby. The grounds were magical… lighted wooden walkways throughout. You knew you were in the jungle…such large beautiful plants throughout…orchids, bromeliads…I have houseplants that look like miniatures of what we saw there. 2 young girls under 10 were in our party. They were ENCHANTED by the butterfly house. I bet we went there 10 times. They also enjoyed the colorful chickens and the reptile area. The pool reminded me of a lagoon and it sloped so that maybe a wheelchair could get in. It was lighted as well. I wish I had spent more time at the pool… so relaxing. There was a fabulous breakfast included every morning….scrambled eggs, 3 kinds of bread for toast, salami, ham, cheese, jelly, marmalade, dulce de Leche, butter, medialunas, several pastries including my favorite, a round biscuit with shredded cheese baked in it… called a cheepa (I’m sure that’s not how it’s spelled) which was SO delicious. If you went away hungry, it was your own fault. The grounds had a metal gazebo, an old wagon etc. … just lovely. Out back of our building was a charming little chapel with a manger scene outside and replicas of the indigenous people standing outside just like you would after church. As I am writing this, it is all I can do not to go the airport and head back to this hotel. It took me 10 hours to get to Buenos Aires and another almost 2 hours to get to Iguazú, but I’d gladly make the trip again to spend time at this hotel. If I were ever depressed or stressed, this place would heal my soul. I felt the Magic there.

This hotel and property might have been nice once upon a time. But now it securiously needs maintenance and an update. The garden is unkept and the pool dirty. The room not clean, old beds, an Air condition that leaked water and could not cool the place down. All furniture was old and falling apart. When we arrived in the evening we did not want to go in as there is no sign and only a door with glass murials - our driver had to convince us that we were in the right place. The breakfast was never ready at 7 am which was an issue because many guests are being picked up early, so they are ready at 7. It was very basic. The staff was present but we did not experience any interactions beside check in and out. They spoke no or very little English.

This is a bit hard hitting but given the incompetence exhibited by the Hotel, particularly the Hotel Manager (who had little to no English) it's totally merited. I was supposed to stay here two nights. I ended up staying one night here and the other was at a partner hotel. The reason in the case of the latter was due to a fault of the Hotel. The Hotel messaged me four hours prior to my arrival (which was going to be late i.e. midnight or so) to say the room I was to stay in had a burst pipe and they had no more rooms at the Hotel. The fact I was told four hours beforehand was very frustrating as I was flying around then on an evening flight so I was unable to put a contingency plan to stay elsewhere of my own choosing myself. What I believe happened actually was the Hotel was in fact double booked and because they knew I was arriving late they offered me a partner Hotel given I would have no other options at that time. Because of the above underhand actions by the Hotel I negotiated a reduced rate for the room and helped myself to the mini bar in the room. Upon leaving the Hotel Manager tried to get me to pay for the mini bar which I had no intention of doing given the actions of the hotel above. Prior to all this I had a transfer to the IGU airport arranged via the Hotel which was supposed to be complementary. I scheduled it to occur between 1-2pm as I was unsure what time my tour would finish at. The transfer arrived at 13:30 and I got back to the Hotel at 14:00 so I missed my transfer. The Hotel did arrange a taxi for me to the airport but I had to pay this myself which was disappointing. The worst part of all this was they got a taxi who only accepts cash, I was exclusively using card (I made that very clear to them) so I had a situation where I couldn't pay the taxi via card at the airport and had to withdraw cash from the ATM to pay the driver. Again I think the Hotel messed up here as this wasn't something I made clear I wanted to pay this way and was easily avoidable imho. This Hotel is supposed to be 4* entity. It's defo not that given how the Hotel is run day to day above. The problems noted above are very much comms issues in that none of the staff there could speak English all that well which isn't in alignment with a 4* entity Hotel. Lastly, the food wasn't all that great, the Breakfast was only moderate at best. So because of all the above the Hotel deserves a rating of 1* and the review title per this review. Avoid at all costs.

This was a very beautiful property in the middle of the rainforest. The room was large, spacious, comfortable, and homey. We did have an issue with ants in the bathroom. It’s understandable as we are in the rainforest. The staff was wonderful and came right away to spray. The included breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The location was of the hotel was far from town. Other than the hotel/ restaurant across the street, there was nothing within walking distance. You needed a taxi to get to town where the shops and restaurants are.
