Aank Hotel Incheon Guwol

When I booked, I thought it was Incheon, close to the airport, but it's actually really far. It takes almost 2 hours by subway and requires 2 transfers. A taxi ride cost 250 RMB (approximately $35 USD) and also took an hour. I felt that while the hotel price was cheap, the time spent traveling and the taxi fare could have been used to get a room in the city center instead. The room was quite clean, but the light from a button kept shining brightly at night, which was really glaring. Breakfast was very simple; only the bread and milk were edible, and the eggs were very dry. But for this price, I guess it's to be expected.

This room and its surroundings are comparable to what you'd find in the city for about 1000 [currency, e.g., RMB/KRW/local currency]. The subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, which is very convenient. Downstairs, there are local eateries, including a BBQ place and a convenience store, all half the price of what you'd pay in the city. The hotel also has a coffee shop, a tax refund machine, and a Korean won exchange machine, which is super handy. My friends and I saved thousands on accommodation, meaning we could buy so much more! There's also a Chinese translator available. Most importantly, when we were rushing to the airport and realized we were 20,000 won short, the hotel 'oppa' (a friendly term for an older man) was incredibly kind and gave us the 20,000 won. Otherwise, we would have missed our flight. I'm so grateful for that! The main takeaway: unbeatable value for money and convenience, even though it's an hour on the subway to get around. A taxi to the airport takes about half an hour. I'll definitely come back next time!

The environment is great, very spacious, and it even has a living room. I was here for a concert. Most of the staff can speak a bit of Chinese, so communication wasn't a problem.

The room looked quite upscale, and the environment was elegant. It's super convenient with lots of Korean restaurants and various convenience stores nearby. They don't provide toothbrushes, but you can buy two downstairs for only 1200 KRW, which is about 6 yuan – totally acceptable.
