Sky Stay

You can see the ocean and enjoy delicious food just an hour away from Seoul. Going to see the sea in other parts of Gyeonggi-do can be quite frustrating due to traffic jams, but this place is great because once you pass the Gangbyeon Expressway, the traffic flows smoothly without any congestion. We set off on a Sunday afternoon, had lunch with some drinks, went for a stroll, and took a nice, long rest at our booked accommodation to sober up before heading back home at night. While accommodations easily cost well over 100,000 KRW on weekends, checking in on a Sunday costs only about 1/3 to 1/4 of that, making it very budget-friendly ^^:: I could have slept over and gone straight to work in the morning, but my wife didn't bring anything to prep for work, so we headed back home while enjoying the night air and night view.

It was clean and offered an ocean view. It was even quieter than expected, but I could hear noises and footsteps from the guests staying in the room above. It seemed to cater mostly to Chinese tour groups, and it shares a building with two hotels called Sky Stay and Air Sky. I was informed that they are actually separate hotels.

Checked in late and had a short but restful stay. The ocean view was great... The bottom part of the window screen seems to need repairing.

The sea view from here is absolutely stunning, and having a balcony is a huge plus. It was clean and quiet, and having a convenience store on the first floor was super handy. It's less than a 3-minute walk to Gureup Naru Ferry Terminal, and there's a famous natural salt bread shop nearby too.

This is my second stay at this accommodation. I came for a relaxing break during my annual leave. The self check-in/check-out was convenient, and the room was clean. I'm also pleased with the facilities.

It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Yeongjongdo Station. Check-in was a breeze thanks to the kiosk. The room was spacious and super clean, and it even had a bidet. The shower was designed well, so the floor didn't get too wet if you were careful. I was absolutely amazed by the incredible view from the room! When I had a slight issue, I called the staff and they came right away and were very helpful. There's a BBQ Chicken on the first floor, and within walking distance, there are cafes and other shops. It's a beautiful town with a stunning sea view! I definitely want to stay here again!
