Harbor Park Hotel

Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Close to China town, parks, night market, but yet quiet and peaceful. The view from the window is great too!

I am extremely disappointed with Harbour Park Hotel. I arrived before noon, and since check-in wasn't available yet, I went to nearby Chinatown for lunch. I returned at 2:30 PM, but the staff insisted I could not check in until exactly 3:00 PM without paying an extra fee. I tried to wait in the lobby, but it was completely packed with other waiting guests, forcing me to wait outside at a nearby 7-Eleven. When I returned at 3:00 PM, there was a line just to check in. To make matters worse, the staff spoke minimal English and were quite impolite. The room cleanliness and overall maintenance were well below expectations. The location is also very inconvenient. The immediate area feels rundown with many closed shops and limited dining options—Chinatown is really the only nearby choice. Furthermore, the hotel sits right in the middle of two metro stations (each about 600 meters away), requiring a lot of walking. I will definitely not return, and I will strongly advise my friends and family to avoid booking here.

I had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff, even though the hotel itself was quite nice. Before my arrival, I emailed the hotel to ask if early check-in would be possible since my flight landed in the morning. I also asked Trip.com to contact the hotel on my behalf. Neither the hotel nor Trip.com informed me that there would be an additional charge for early check-in. They only asked what time I expected to arrive. When I arrived at around 10:30 AM, the receptionist showed no expression and immediately told me that if I wanted to check in then, I would have to pay KRW 11,000 per hour. Since I wasn't informed of this policy beforehand, I decided to leave the hotel, have breakfast, and spend some time sightseeing instead. I returned at around 1:00 PM, and the same receptionist was at the front desk. She was even eating at the reception counter in the hotel lobby. Without any greeting or smile, she told me that if I wanted to check in at that time, I would need to pay KRW 22,000. I paid the additional charge because I had no other choice. I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and this was honestly the worst front desk service I have ever experienced. What made it even more disappointing was that the hotel was far from busy—there appeared to be many vacant rooms. The hotel itself is good, but the poor attitude and lack of professionalism from the front desk staff left a very negative impression. I hope the management will provide better customer service training in the future.

Generally, the room is comfortable, except the erratic air-conditioning that shuts down unexpectedly in the middle of night. Hotel location is near Gimpa Airport & Chinatown, which makes F&B &/or transit flights to Jeju easy.

Convenient across from Inchon Chinatown.. lots of restaurants … near the airport.. .. dumplings , ja jiang , Chinese Korean eats .. many small Korean restaurants.. do the Korean breakfast 10,000won lol
