A wonderful 5 star experience. Hotel and amenities excellent. Staff always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make our holiday very special. All staff in reception Pubudu,Ajith,Chaturri,Sara,Dananjaya, Chanchala. Very helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff very attentive and helpful and made my birthday very special, the manager Suranga especially made every effort to make sure we were pleased with the food and even made sure my wife had special vegetarian food. Very helpful and friendly. Isuru also made sure things went smoothly. The waiters Dilip and Kalum dressed our table beautifully with happy birthday written in coloured rice and beautiful flowers and also our farewell table with an aeroplane of coloured rice and flowers. The Baker who made all the fresh bread and cakes was a brilliant chef. Thank you to all the chefs as their food was exceptional. Hotel position was beautiful. Rooms have a lovely view and very comfortable Kept to a high standard if cleanliness. Pool attendants and lifeguards very friendly and attentive , with good service. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly people. We have spent a few wonderful days here. It is beautifully located, right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful and normally we never mention names but now I would like to thank the following people who made our stay a success through their efforts. These are: Fowsan, Ajith, Pasindu, Pubudu, Kumara, Sara and Chathurr, thank you again for your kindness ! We will certainly be among the "repeaters".

We had a truly wonderful time enjoying the beautiful and breathtaking view at the beach. Although we couldn’t swim in the sea, the pool provided a perfect alternative, complete with some fun games that made the experience even more enjoyable. A big thanks to the restaurant team at Deshan for their excellent service — every meal was delightful. Most importantly, we are especially grateful to the front desk team: Fowsan, Ajith, Pasindu, Danajaya, Sara, Chathuri, and Poojani. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, they took care of everything with such warmth and professionalism. Their constant smiles and helpful attitude truly made our stay memorable.

I had a wonderful stay at pandanus beach resort and spa.The location is absolutely serene and perfect for relaxation. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We are sooo lucky for seen their new year fest. We had a joyful time with pandanus Aurudhu Festival. I would like to thanks all the staff, management for arranging such a nice event for foreigners. Specially I like to mention the reception team Ajith fowsan Dananjaya pasindu sara chathuri susanthi chanchala.... And all the staff are very friendly and helpful. See you again guys love you

Absolute magic! Perfect location, beautiful staff. Food was amazing, and Hotel clean. This Hotel has a lot to boast about. I highly recommend this place to anyone. English speaking staff made this even more amazing. Nothing was too much trouble

Suranga bar manager - amazing We had the most amazing time and suranga really looked after us. The bar service was amazing. Really loved all the staff, so polite and friendly. Would come again. Nothing was too much trouble. If you needed anything they sorted it out there and then

We’d love to give more stars for this hotel but there were many issues that didn’t meet reasonable expectations for a 4* establishment. Sadly it was more like a 3* and we did not think it represented good value for money. Firstly the good stuff - Food was excellent, fresh and plentiful. We mostly only ate the Sri Lankan dishes and they were delicious. Restaurant staff were attentive but sometimes overly attentive, hovering at our table and frequently interrupting our meal. The Manager was amazing! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Reception staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. Negative issues - The room was very much in need of refurbishment. Cleaning, replenishment, towels and bed linen change were inconsistent and often didn’t happen at all! We were constantly having to track down housekeeping to sort it out! Someone mentioned on a previous review that their pillows smelt bad. Ours were so unpleasant they had to be replaced. We spoke to other guests and they had the same complaint which is unacceptable. In fact if we’d read that review before booking, it’s unlikely we would have chosen to stay in that hotel! AC was freezing cold and impossible to adjust. Someone commented about sunbed reservation. What they may not have realised is that it wasn’t the guests personally who bagged all the sunbeds with umbrellas - it was the pool staff who were reserving them for specific guests at 7am! Needless to say, said guests never appeared before 10am! Finally, and these issues have also been mentioned many times - the hotel is on a main road and next to a railway line. It is not peaceful in the morning! The nearest shops are 6km away so no quick dash to get essentials like water (which was very expensive in the hotel). We have read lots of glowing reviews for the Pandanus so ultimately you’ll have to make up your own mind.

Very beautiful hotel with beautiful peoples. I love the service from all the staff. Chef is amazing. Food is delicious. Just housekeeping you have to bit improve for cleanliness. But overall good experience. Especially girls at reception sara chathu and fowsan dananjaya pasindu susanthi chanchala poojani Ajith.

I really enjoyed every moment at the hotel. I loved the beach, and it was a very calm and relaxing place for our holiday. The staff was excellent, especially in the food department and with the room. Our last moments were made even more special and happy thanks to the kindness of Foshan and Kumara.
