Very basic , but equipped well, everything you need is in the room but everything need updating, and a very good clean, dust on all over eye level. The bed extremely uncomfortable, the bedding strachey and smells damp and musty, which therefore makes the room smell, Room could do with some insulation as you can hear next doors conversations your that close .

We stayed in the Barley Store. The directions to the accommodation from the Fox Covert Inn could’ve been a bit clearer but the location is good for exploring the area. The room was clean and fresh towels every day. We didn’t book a hot tub or breakfast so can’t comment on that. The shower leaked badly and the bathroom light wouldn’t turn off. The couple next door had a drunken domestic and the rooms are adjoined so we could hear everything which wasn’t ideal. Overall, it was OK but we wouldn’t stay again.
