Huangyao is a place I have always wanted to go. Although it is several years late, I finally have time to go there. Deyun Villa has a grand name, simple decoration, good service attitude of the boss, large room, and a small balcony that I like. It's a pity that the weather is too cold, otherwise it would be a pleasure to sit and drink a cup of tea. The best thing is that the location is excellent, very close to the entrance of the ancient town, and the famous Dailong Bridge is at the turn. There are many attractions and snacks nearby. The owners and their family are friendly and welcoming; they even personally picked us up from the parking lot and helped with our luggage. The ambiance is rustic and elegant. The restaurant is right at the main entrance, and the food and portions are quite good, especially the roast chicken. The only downside is that the rooms are near the road and not very quiet, but there's a terrace where you can enjoy tea, read, relax, and admire the mountain views. The decor is also very warm and artistic. Before we left, they even gave us a local specialty: vermicelli—a truly heartwarming gesture.

After the luggage was taken down at the store, the boss took it to the parking lot. When you go out, turn right to the pick-up gate of the ancient town. It takes two minutes to walk. After 6 pm and before 8 am, no one works at the door. You can enter for free.
