"Fantastic hotel! It must have been recently renovated because everything feels brand new. The guy at the front desk was handsome and incredibly welcoming, with a charming, shy smile throughout. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but if you stay for two nights, they give you a Welcome Card which allows for free public transport. There's a large Lidl right next to the hotel, where things are quite affordable, especially considering how expensive Europe can be. The room was spotless – not a single water mark on the shower glass, mirror, or faucet, and the shower pressure was excellent and very comfortable. The biggest surprise was the air conditioning! We traveled through France and Switzerland in June, and it was scorching hot everywhere. Very few hotels had AC, so this was a huge plus. The hotel's decor is simple yet tasteful, and our room offered stunning views of the Alps. Breakfast was abundant with a great variety, including several types of meat. All in all, I really loved this hotel."

"The hotel offers a free self-service laundry room, which is a huge plus! The views are also great. It's a bit out of the way, but public transportation is convenient; you can get to the central station in 15 minutes. Walking isn't really an option though."

"Use tram 3 from.the main station to get here. I used a 24 hour travelcard to get around. Beautiful views from hotel. I didn't have a mountain view though, just a concrete wall. They even provide fans. This is a must. Great breakfast. Again lots of smoking outside of the property."

"Despite its name, Basic Hotel Innsbruck is far from basic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local food and attractions that truly enhanced our stay. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to the city’s main sights and only two stops away from the central train station. The surrounding area felt safe and was very walkable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Innsbruck."

I was initially standing outside, and a friendly resident helped me search through my old emails without success. I eventually found the key code in the latest email in my inbox. Other than this initial difficulty, everything else was fine."
