We have just enjoyed a gloriously sunny 3 night stay at this wonderful hotel.We visited a few years ago but since then the hotel, pools and spa have had a revamp and are now very plush ,modern and clean. We ate twice in the hotel and had great food and excellent service.The staff were polite and helpful. We visited theRosemoor gardens which were well worth a visit andBaggy Point which was great . Overall excellent value for money and can certainly recommend. Thank you to all the hard working staff.

We’ve just returned from a 2 night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After sending an email to the hotel, they kindly upgraded us to a sea facing room which really enhanced our experience. The staff are all friendly, professional and courteous. The room itself had been refurbished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was of a very good standard with plenty of choice. We had dinner one night which was of a high standard and the service was very attentive. The hotel clearly sells itself on the stunning view which is the star of this establishment. During our short time there we visited the beachside grill and had lunch. Although it belongs to the hotel it has a very different vibe with dogs and noise. Our visit to the thermal suite was enjoyable but sadly the hot tub wasn’t very hot. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and appreciate the hotels kindness in upgrading our room.

A welcomed post Christmas & New Year family break. We stayed in one of the hotel’s apartments. I was concerned that the Art Deco hotel might have been stuck with 1930’s decoration and plumbing - a faded shadow of its former self. It was also the end of the season; would the staff be jaded. No! They couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much of a problem. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped, spacious and clean; the hotel spa and swimming pool equally welcoming and clean. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

If you haven’t already visited the Saunton Sands Hotel then use this review as motivation. Perched high up overlooking Saunton sands and the Braunton burrows it has unrivalled views. Whether you are a family with kid’s or a couple looking for a long weekend break this is definitely a must stay at some point in your holiday planning schedule in the future.

You would find it hard to beat the location, but the overall quality of the service and dining only makes the stay even more enjoyable.We can’t wait to go back.

We are currently staying at this wonderful hotel and so impressed with the facilities, the food and especially the staff. From our arrival when the receptionist made an extra effort to satisfy our request to every member of staff since, they are a credit to the hotel. I believe that guests staying at the hotel will appreciate the extra effort that must go in to taking on good people to represent your fabulous hotel.

We arrived to a friendly welcome and our cases were taken to our room which was spotlessly clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent table service in the bar. We then went for dinner and the menu was fantastic. The food was of a very high quality and well presented.

Awful customer service! Stayed in the hotel and received a £170 fine for parking in the carpark from the external company that runs the carpark. No one in the hotel told me I needed to register my car when I arrived, and despite asking for help with the parking company, the hotel refused to help at all. Would highly recommend not staying as they will not assist guests, terrible service!

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location overlooking the beach. Great facilities and food. Shame I wasn’t staying longer, I hear the spa was fabulous.
